To: who knows what evil?
The lefties and the progressives had better pray (not sure to who) for Mr. Trump’s continued good health, because they could wind up with a CHRISTIAN in the White House making a couple of Supreme Court picks...OMG!!!

If Trump wins there will already be a Christian in the White House; we won't have to go wishing for his early demise in order to get one.

Of course all the ‘RATS and libtards are spewing the party line that Trump was mocking a “crippled reporter”, but why are you?

So which is it: did Trump decide for Pence and then have second thoughts/”waver,” or did he string the suspense along/maintain people’s curiosity at a fever pitch for as long as possible, as only Trump can do?

Oh, well, he might not have been mocking. But if he wasn't, he did such a perfect job faking it that it had even me convinced.

Beats me. I’m just a watcher.

However, if he was trying to build suspense, it was a flop. The real world intervened. Normally the buildup to the convention and the veep pick is big news, but this time it’s been an also-ran with events in Dallas and France and Turkey.

You must have missed all the lengthy, hyper-excited threads here yesterday, as people speculated on whether it really was Pence or not. If they represented a flop, it’s difficult to imagine the converse.

And it really is remarkable how cavalierly you change position. Initially you claimed Trump had made a definite decision and then wavered. Yet without any sense of contradiction, you next claimed he hadn’t decided as of late yesterday. Your positions are incompatible...not that it seems to bother you.

‘Normally the buildup to the convention and the veep pick is big news’

Drudge must have missed your memo. It was big news there and across the Internet. Or are you still relying on the MSM to tell you what’s important?

Well, of course it was covered, both on the web and in the traditional media. But the big news over the past several weeks was not Mike Pence, unless you’re talking solely about American politics.

Speaking of Drudge, take a look at his site tonight.

I support Trump but picking Pro Amnesty Pence is STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID...Pence carried the ball for GW Bush’s Amnesty attempt back in about 2007 ... it is well documented... How could Trump be so blind. Pence is not of the mindset of the general - average Trump supporter... Pence is a Republican Establishment wannabe .. a has been you never was... sad sad sad sad ... and why would he announce before the convention..? I just hope this is not true but some silly lie

No, that is not what I said. That is what you said I said.

As I said, I’m just a watcher. I don’t particularly care who Trump picks as a running mate, because anybody is better than Hillary. The bar is very low this year.

That said, I can guarantee you that my “positions,” whatever that means, are not incompatible and that I’m not bothered by Trump’s pick — but you certainly seem to be bothered that I commented. Today’s news is interesting on many fronts. No need to take it personally if I say so.

Mark my words — Pence will turn out to be a NET NEGATIVE in the Trump Campaign ...

How disappointing ... with all the good people of a reform mindset to pick from Trump allows his advisers to give him a budding Republican Establishment minion ... Stupid...

That’s the most “comforting” statements yet, because I was really hoping Trump would pick him. I hope he’d be utilized in a more effective role.

Open borders? That’s not what his Congressional voting record showed:

http://www.ontheissues.org/IN/Mike_Pence.htm

· Voted YES on building a fence along the Mexican border. (Sep 2006)
· Voted YES on reporting illegal aliens who receive hospital treatment. (May 2004)
· Voted YES on extending Immigrant Residency rules. (May 2001)
· Rated 100% by FAIR, indicating a voting record restricting immigration. (Dec 2003)
· Rated 92% by USBC, indicating a sealed-border stance. (Dec 2006)
· End Birthright Citizenship; no more anchor babies. (Apr 2009)
· Declare English as the official language of the US. (Feb 2007)

The idiocy of the Pence Amnesty Ploy... Mike Pence proposed an Amnesty Sell Out that would have required the illegal aliens to just Step out of the U.S. and then immediately Step back into the U.S. Out new VP ... What a fricken disappointment ...

http://www.vdare.com/articles/hey-mike-pence-amnesty-is-the-absence-of-punishment-not-the-presence-of-reward

Our attention must now turn to the Pence Ploy—the alleged “compromise” miraculously proposed at the last minute by Congressman Mike Pence and widely whooped-up as a way of outflanking immigration patriots in the House.

http://www.vdare.com/articles/congressman-mike-pence-and-the-amnesty-lobby

Two days before the United States Senate passed S.2611, Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) delivered a speech on immigration policy at the Heritage Foundation. Pence offered what he called a “middle ground” proposal, a “no amnesty immigration reform” in which “securing our border is the first step.” [Renewing the American Dream: The Real Rational Middle Ground on Immigration Reform, May 23, 2006]

The timing of Pence`s speech and his position as chairman of the House Republican Study Committee combined to get his proposal the maximum media attention. So, what is the “middle ground” Pence wants to occupy?
