On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “On the Record,” while reacting to the attacks in Nice, France, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump stated “when I come out with my non-politically correct statements, that a lot of people love, and some people are so terrible, and then you have attacks like this and so many other attacks.” And that “I would not allow people to come in from terrorist nations. I would do extreme vetting. I would call it extreme vetting, too.”

Trump also needs to say as much as possible, that Hillary has run 30,700 Ads since clinching the nomination.

I will, but his egocentricity is appalling. People count the number of times Obama says I, me, my. Trump makes.him a piker.

You’ve got to be kidding. Appalling?

Seems there are some among us who don’t understand the situation this nation is in.

TRUMP has to say “I” because no one else is saying it.

Trump has his charm, but I really wish he’d rid his vocabulary of “terrible” and “horrible”. He overuses those words to the point where they leave no impression.

Well, at least Trump doesn’t go around claiming to be God’s anointed one.

“the number of times Obama says I, me, my. Trump makes.him a piker.”..........

I could care less how Trump says something if it hits the intended target. Being politically correct is nothing but a way to deflect the obvious. Yes, he is there telling you how great he is and how he got where he is, etc. While it is a bit over the top, it also conveys a message that he is indeed HIGHLY CAPABLE and SUCCESSFUL. Not brag, just fact!

I don’t think ads are very effective way to get a message out. I don’t have cable or watch NBC, CBS or ABC. I watch Netflix and avoid all commercials. I think more and more people are going this way. At the same time, I generally do not go to websites that are likely to attack Trump. I think most people’s internet usage is like that.

Hillary is wasting her money.

Misleading headline: It tries to make the one the cause of the other and that definitely is not the sense of the original statement.

“We’re trying to be so nice. We’re trying to be so civil. We’re so weak. The world has got to strengthen up. And we have to be very tight with our borders. It’s now a different world, Greta. This isn’t 40 years ago and 80 years ago. This is a different world. We’re trying to be so politically correct, and we’re making such big mistakes.”

- Donald Trump, July 14, 2016, Bastille Day

Your statement, especially in this situation, is proof that there is always a critic.

Can’t forget his target audience isn’t us - it’s the LIV crowd. Those words work just fine.

I see what he's doing now.

He talks in that disjointed, stream of consciousness way so that nobody can really pin him to what he is saying.

He probably meant to say that the attacks were in response to something he had said but there is really no way to prove that is what he meant. He could have just been listing a bunch of things that have happened.

What a sly fox. I knew there had to be a good reason he sounded like that.

Of course Trump has come up with plenty of ideas, but I still believe he could benefit from reading some of the posts here.

Have someone regularly peruse the site and pass on The Best Of.

I am in the same boat as you. Hulu and Netflix mostly. Rarely watch regular TV.
That being said, we are a minority in the US. Ad’s actually do make quite a difference. In a number of years, it will be less significant.
