Maybe Rasmussen, but they have a poor track record.

Even stupid people understand Crooked Hillary. Mr. Trump is a genius.

Yesterday some the stories about polls showing Trump pulling ahead in battleground states questioned if the state polls were outliers because Clinton had a significant lead nationally. Now we see that Clinton is in trouble nationwide in spite of massively outspending Trump on TV ads.

Dems, you may now panic.

What if she gets fewer votes and the vote counters proclaim she won anyway?

Would we be told that “no reasonable person” would take that to court?

Actually over the long haul they are very good. Certainly no worse than Nate Silver and his 538 poll which is held as the gold standard and yet has failed so miserably recently.

NY Times poll is not even. Dems were over sampled by about 5%. Trump is in front if that matters this early. Hillary will be dumped very soon with a tragic illness that prevents here from serving the American people. (sarc)

I guess people just aren’t buying her lame excuse that she didn’t intend to put our nation’s secrets at risk.

There’s still long way to go and I expect this race to seesaw.

Trump may get a bounce from his VP choice. Shrillary will get a bounce from hers. Both will get post-convention bounces.

Still remains to be seen if Shrillary gets a bounce from the Bern endorsement. Bern supporters so far seem lukewarm at best. Elizabeth Warren as VP could make them go all gaga.

But there still is the steady drip, drip of the email stuff and who knows what’s lying under the carpet with the Clinton Foundation and the presumed FBI investigation over her lying to Congress (not that I expect anything will come of that-but it’s bad press, nonetheless).

Popular votes do not count, onle electoral college votes count. In 2000 Al Gore got more votes than GWB and yet lost the election.

"SHOCK POLL: TRUMP 44% CLINTON 37%"

Rasmussen releases their poll on Thursday so that's my guess. It's not on their website and Drudge (and the other media outlets) may get a sneak peek.

Problem with the Rasmussen poll is that it it's an automatic poll so it can't poll cell phone users. OTOH there is a "Trump Effect" b/c of the "social desirability" bias. Try explaining to the $7.25/hr tattooed millennial pollster that 50 years ago if we had defined the words "Mexico", "illegal" and "Islam" as "race", our teachers would have covered the paper with red ink and the notation, "See Me!!!!!"

(Nice poll result in any case, hope it throws the Clintonistas into a state of panic! Maybe they'll waste even more money on ineffective ads.)

One thing to note is that this is registered voters. R’s always do better if you just look at likely voters.

Trump is not ahead by 7%. Remember how many people thought Romney was going to win based on polls ?

Dems were over sampled by about 5%.

That sounds about right. There are more registered Rats than Reps. Sometimes you get polls that oversample Rats by 10-15% which is excessive and should be viewed with skepticism.

No, she has emerged from OBAMA’S ENDORSEMENT in a bad position.

I disagree with Comey, but I think America generally respects law enforcement. Obama endorsed her publicly the day after.... why couldn’t THAT be the reason she is falling?

Why would Drudge not source this poll?
