Of course, he has missed the point entirely with his thesis here. No, Mr. President, this is not about “not investing” in the inner cities. It’s actually the complete opposite. It’s the culture of dependency and no accountability that your party has engendered in the inner cities that are causing all these issues. Those are the chickens coming home to roost in the forms of endless violence and no concern for human life.
FWIW, the perp who killed these officers lived in a 4,000 sq. ft. house in the ‘burbs, and had no inner city background, at all.

“Investing” means taxing those evil white people that work even more. Actually, think of how much more we could spend on our poor minority communities if, as Trump says, we didn’t spend everything on refugees and illegals.
God is always there ready to “invest in the inner city” but the inner city has been so preoccupied in hating that it has left no room for His love to come in.
The moment is so pregnant for an honest gospel message. I didn’t say religious message, I didn’t even say a read the bible and try to do that stuff all of yourself message. We are helpless wretches who have to lay our lives on the Lord to regain love and hope, and nobody of any color is wearing halos here.
