Clinton campaign manager promises major Florida effort, warns that Trump could win state
The Orlando Sentinel ^ | July 10, 2016 | Anthony Man

Hillary Clinton's campaign manager had a warning Saturday for any Florida Democrats who might be tempted to relax, figuring their party's presidential candidate is sure to cruise to an easy victory over Donald Trump: Anyone who thinks Trump can't win is wrong.

"Donald Trump can win Florida. Donald Trump can win the presidential election...," said Robby Mook, Clinton's national campaign manager. "So everyone needs to do everything they can..."

Floridians can expect to see "a lot..." of Clinton between now and Election Day, Mook said... He said the Clinton effort would include an enormous ground operation that might ultimately surpass the massive — and winning — Florida efforts mounted by Barack Obama...

A major part of the effort will be in South Florida — especially Broward...the biggest source of Democratic votes...

The gay and lesbian community is a major Democratic Party constituency... He said the Clinton campaign's overarching message — largely depicting Trump as unfit to serve as president — would be the same everywhere, but take different forms depending on the region...

Floridians can expect to see President Obama campaign on behalf of Clinton...

U.S. Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-N.Y... told party activists that knocking on one more door or making one more phone call could make the difference...

"Florida's where it's going to be won or lost," he said...

Maloney, who is serving his second term, is his state's first openly gay member of Congress. He said the lesbian and gay community has seen amazing advancements. "We are kicking ass from Maine to down here in Florida..."

Maloney also used Trump to motivate Democrats. "We cannot lose this election. I don't want to live in Donald Trump's America..."

State Sen. Chris Smith...was even more blunt... "We've got a maniac on one side," he said, referring to Trump.

Excellent illustration. I’ve been noticing this metric as well. It is a way better indicator than stupid rigged media driven polls for measuring popular enthusiasm for one candidate over another. I do not believe a single published poll is anywhere near measuring the real current sentiment. Also, since the near certain demise of Bernie, My FB feed has gone mostly quiet from the known lefties on preferential politics. And those in my feed leaning right who supported other candidates have mostly started posting pro Trump messages. I think folks on both sides are holding their collective breath for the conventions to play out.

He was. All the more reason for me to respect his support for Trump.

LOL! What a different 12 months makes.

They spent 2015 laughing at Trump, at us, and at the American people.

“Just remember that Obama won Florida twice. Last time pretty handily.”

Sorry, but you are wrong. Obama won the state twice but in 2008 he won by 2.8%; in 2012 he only won by .9%; so he gave up almost 2% in 2012.

In fact in the 11 states considered battlegrounds, Obama gave up %’s between 2008 and 2012 in all of them.

There are so many Hillary ads that the wife and I now race to grab the ‘mute’ button. The ads have gone from ‘OK, an ad’ to ‘OMG, just SHUT UP ALREADY’. Campaign is doing more harm to itself by being annoying than helping.

"Donald Trump can win Florida. Donald Trump can win the presidential election...," said Robby Mook, Clinton's national campaign manager.

Since this indeed is the case, then Mook should tell all 900 of the Clinton campaign workers to pack up their crap, and get their delusional minds off of helping this crooked slut hillary ....and go home to their nasty pigstys.

It continues to be a matter of utter astonishment to me, personally, that ANYONE would even consider voting for the demented and corrupt hillary.

It would seem there are far more Imbeciles in America than one might suspect.

They have been running a lot of Hillary ads on Jacksonville TV...I have only seen one Trump commercial. Now I assume that will change drastically after the convention...but right now it is all Hillary all the time...Theme is “she saved the children”....well not the 55 million her party butchered in the womb but I guess the ones that survived that trauma...

I just ran the math:

Florida

2,276,926 people voted in the Republican Primary
1,077,221 people voted for Trump

1,664,003 people voted in the Democratic Primary
1,097,400 voted for Clinton

Romney won 771,842 of 1,663,698 primary votes in 2012

Thus, Trump won 300k more votes than Romney in a race that had 613,228 more Republican primary voters than in 2012.

This is, and should be A MAJOR CONCERN for Hillary.

I don’t think this is campaign hyperbole to raise money, it is real, empirical, statistic data that alludes to a Republican landslide in FL.

If they deny Trump the nomination, they believe in nothing, just like the Democrats.

If they deny Trump the nomination I am voting for the Librarian party.

I’m in CA and I have “TRUMP 45” Vanity License Plates on my Car.

I have had them on for about Month and my Car hasn’t been Keyed yet.

I’ll take that to mean that Trump might have a shot here, (but I doubt it). LOL

I did have a Mexican (?) guy driving a Beater Honda pull up next to me on the Freeway and Flip me off though.

perhaps Hilliarty’s campaign manager should remember that the more Hilliarty is seen by the public, the less she’s liked

if he wants her to win, he should keep her locked up as much as possible and OUT of the public view (and especially out of the public’s earshot)

No.
In 2008, BO beat Juan McInsane by 2.81%

In 2012, BO beat Mitt by 0.88%.

In other words, BO’s level of victory dropped by more than 50%.

His total votes dropped by about 50,000.

And, anecdotal as it is, there are blacks I know who drank sooo much Kool-Aid in ‘08 and ‘12 who now admit BO has stank on him.
