I and my previously WAY favorite nephew have grown apart since his college produced a kid i dont recognize.
I got so mad I put him against a wall two years ago for talking to me like I was an ignorant raciss bigot.
His father (God rest his soul) was a ‘Nam vet and died four years ago. i kind of stepped in. I’ve told him his father would CRY if he knew how he turned out.
Can’t put him agaist the wall again. It didn’t work and i’ve had a little nerve damage since then!!
Sometimes you just have to let fools blow off steam. The years will tell if he noticed anything to the good. War can do weird things to families as well.
