There is a world of difference between “once a Democrat” (which I btw was) and a Democrat.

Does Senator Sessions like General Flynn? He is a registered Democrat. He is from Rhode Island.

Not gonna happen. Trump is not picking a VP whose name is appearing in the media. He’s twisting the media in knots as they do their usual speculation on who the VP is. My guess is Trump had his VP choice picked weeks ago and he or she has been vetted already by his campaign, but they’ve kept it under wraps until the announcement is made. All of this speculation for people like Gov. Pence, Newt, and Gen. Flynn is just the Trump campaign messing with the media and having fun at their expense.

I listened to an interview of Trump last week (it was Fox but I can't remember who) and Trump was grilled about his Veep choice.

He had good remarks about the General but once again stated that he needed someone who had political experience and could help him navigate DC and Congress.

Politico has a piece entitled “Trump’s Favorite General!”
Flynn does have a book coming out this month, timing!!
His son is a chief advisor to Trump and has been promoting his father for Veep on twitter.
Flynn has called on Killary to step down several times!!

Um, Ulysses Grant was a Democrat until the middle of the Civil War.

Washington Post is as believable as Pravda was in the 1960-80’s.

Some Democrats are more conservative than the Country Club Republicans that plague the GOP today.

Flynn looks like a pyscho and was a registered democrat until last year.

He also brings no states, no women, and no hispanics.

Terrible choice.

That’s my hope. Keep sending out misdirection until Sessions gets announced in a week. Or possibly Fallin.

Imagine if he chose a democrat with the qualifications he is searching for...Hillary would probably choose somebody like McCain if this were to happen!

Apparently, he has a bunch of people around here fooled too. Trump the unconventional candidate won’t do the conventional move of picking a VP whose name has already been announced in the media.

He could pick Daffy Duck and I’d still vote for him. But Flynn sounds like a very interesting choice.

Also, the Democratic edge in registration in Rhode Island, is such that there are probably many nominal Democrats, not necessarily endorsing anything ideological. (And the State's "Republicans," have little in common with Republicans in the West or South.)

But I will admit that I do not know enough about the General to do more than speculate. (I suspect that most of the retired brass that Obama has forced into early retirements, will be all in for Trump anyway--probably with hair raising narratives to offer as the campaign unwinds.)

Flynn is my pick also, but:

With all the polls out there who would make the best V.P., the Washington Post has had their credentials taken away by Trump Campaign, soooo my question is this:

Because this is who we want Trump to choose, doesn't mean this is who he is going to choose...so is the Washington Post following the posts from people because they don't have a way of getting info anymore other than this...

I don't believe anything the Washington Post says anymore, not good enough for Mr. Trump, not good enough for me...
