German Chancellor Angela Merkels popularity has rebounded after the British vote to leave the EU, an opinion poll showed Saturday, reversing a fall in her appeal caused by the refugee crisis.
The poll was the second in a few days to suggest a popularity boost for the German leader.
Saturdays poll, commissioned jointly by Stern magazine and Die Welt newspaper and carried out by the Forsa market research institute, showed Ms. Merkels appeal up two points to 48 percent.
Whats more, three quarters of CSU supporters now back Merkel, said Forsa director Manfred Gullner, referring to the southern German affiliate of Merkels ruling CDU party.

Tot Katz Aufschwung
“Picking leaders isnt exactly a strength of the Germans.”
Americans aren’t so hot either.
Touché!
(Actually I’m surprised it took that long for somebody to respond with that)
Krazy Krauts!
Why not simply go with M. After all, it is difficult to tell her gender.
This is not related to the topic of this thread, but it is related to your post.
Yesterday I was trying to set up a Google drive account for my work, and it asked me, in the "gender" question, whether or not I was "female, male, other." ?????? Other!
“Rebounded” two points to remain below average. They must use the same writers our MSM uses.
If this is not a media lie, Germans deserve their chains and burkas.
File under "whistling past the graveyard". Sounds like the same polling company that assured the world that Brexit would not pass.
.........remember the Brexit Polls! I do not believe ANY poll can measure a 2% shift in public opinion accurately. Maybe a 20% shift but not a 2. This poll is total bs and nothing more than calculated and planned fodder for news media to push their agenda.
Dr Ms Mrs
Can’t they just use her STASI rank?
Or maybe just Fuhere Merkel.
Lauditory Poll results from presstitutes.
This means Fuhrer Merkel’s positives are plunging.
Once the Germans again control Mainland Europe, they can concentrate on Great Britain without having a pesky Russian Front to worry about.
Wow, the German government creates their own polls, too! Just like us..!
Britain has nuclear weapons as does France and Russia.
Point Of Information: Who would be the best, pro-conservative German politician to replace her, as a leader? Ditto, best pro-conservative leaders throughout the rest of Europe?
