FR should be aware that whoever did the shooting was not related to those who were involved in organizing the protest, which included pastors and church members from many different denominations and communities across the city.
It seems to me that whoever did the shooting was trying to stop the Christian community from leading and trying to promote peaceful solutions to the problem of racism.
Many in today’s African American community want nothing to do with MLK’s ideas.

My feelings exactly. I’ve been asked what I would do if someone tried to disarm me. I replied by stating that I am not too worried about that, I will have my weapons as long as I am alive. It is time for a second civil war, or revolution, call it what you’d like, but the US needs not be held hostage by gangs of thugs, muslims, and their communist/liberal supporters.

We did, moved out of Memphis into the next county 3 yrs ago. Taxes dropped, car ins dropped. Course you have to go into Memphis for any medical care and those NO GUN ZONE signs are up in all doctors/hospitals. 2 hr round trip plus the usual wait time.
We live in a mixed middle income neighborhood every one keeps their homes up, where many both black and white residents are legal CCW permit holders, especially if they work in Memphis. That is the draw back about living more rural, little medical, industry or well paying jobs. Our black neighbors both are CCW carriers, nicest people you’d ever want for neighbors, but DEM brainwashed blind voters.
Memphis’ crime is spilling our way though, 2 elderly people have been murdered this year which is very rare, and that is a high number, as the usual crime is shop lifting.

It is not war yet. It will be when the Moslems add some serious jihad into the mix. Then BLM and the Mohos will reinforce each other and both are groups that the feds will defend even as they are wasting cities and neighborhoods. The Federal evisceration of the police forces will accelerate and the chaos that results from that will be blamed on the police and the federal assault on the police will accelerate. Buy ammo. when this reaches a higher level ammo will be taken off the shelves by the Government. Then we will have to rely on traditional wartime sources.

Nothing that I have seen. Zero information. DPD just said the ones in custody were “not cooperating” and we’re being “tight lipped.”
I was referring to the tactical operations of the shooters. Triangulating their positions to funnel the cops. Their movements during the operation. These are not just some random BLM thugs. These guys are pros.
They have been trained to adopt the tactics of urban warfare in the Middle East and armed police helicopters and drones should be launched before our police arrive on the scene.
This is war and we have to use the war tactics against the anarchists.
All this reminds me of the 60s when just the word “cop” provoked ridicule and name calling ie “PIG”. At the beginning of professional games, Black players would not respect the flag, Pledge of Allegiance or National Anthem. Black people said that they were taking over the US. As a young person, it was scary. In theatres, the audience clapped and yelled when a cop on screen died. Terrible times.
There is no doubt that racism exists, however I believe you misstate the objective of BlackLivesMatter, which is not combatting racism, rather combatting their perception of overt racism by the police resulting in the disproportionate killing of blacks by police.
Personally I question their conclusion.
Blacks are about 13% of the population but 25% of the victims of police shootings. On the surface, disproportionate.

Violent crimes might especially precipitate contact. Blacks are 13% of the population, yet commit about 50% of murders and robberies. That is disproportionate.
Personally regarding the two killings yesterday, which precipitated the demonstration, the one in Minnesota appears to be problematical, imo the one in Baton Rouge far less so, but in neither do I see any evidence of racism on the part of the officers involved.
