We did, moved out of Memphis into the next county 3 yrs ago. Taxes dropped, car ins dropped. Course you have to go into Memphis for any medical care and those NO GUN ZONE signs are up in all doctors/hospitals. 2 hr round trip plus the usual wait time.
We live in a mixed middle income neighborhood every one keeps their homes up, where many both black and white residents are legal CCW permit holders, especially if they work in Memphis. That is the draw back about living more rural, little medical, industry or well paying jobs. Our black neighbors both are CCW carriers, nicest people you’d ever want for neighbors, but DEM brainwashed blind voters.
Memphis’ crime is spilling our way though, 2 elderly people have been murdered this year which is very rare, and that is a high number, as the usual crime is shop lifting.
Good move, but, obviously, you are still too close to the “action”.
