As a side note, back in July of 2002 I visited my cousin who lived outside of Ft. Meyers in the boonies. On a Sunday afternoon, his neighbor about 1/4 mile down the road had some buddies over and they were shooting full autos and a .50 cal (boom!) My cousin said this was a regular event.
I asked him how the heck could the guy afford the rifles and all the ammunition and he said the guy was very well off since he owned a meat packing plant down there.......
Knob Creek Gun Range in KY has a twice a year machine gun shoot. I know there are videos out there.
