That is correct - she needs to be impeached if elected. Wow - never occurred to me but that is something that needs to be done.

Well said. The Trump campaign would be wise to remind the public of your words at every opportunity.
But it is even worse. By lying to Congress, she has as much as acknowledged she is a yet un-charged felon. Indeed, it can be argued she is a felon in the highest sense. Many criminal statutes are designed to protect a class or classes of individuals. Her violations, however, endangered the lives of every single man, woman and child in our nation, and may continue to do so for some time.

My first thought is that any O pardon would not shield her from impeachment proceedings. I say pardon because we don't know what else may be developing or is ripe to surface.
(What a suitable and historic event, both her and BJ being impeached...although it doesn't say much of the voters.)

What is the old saying, “Ignorance of the law is no defense”. Intent is another subject, if we are going by Comey’s playbook. The crime still stands. We all know that anyone else would be stripped of their clearance and/or fired regardless of how well they played stupid. If she wasn’t playing, for goodness sakes - do us all a favor and take up knitting and sitting the grandkids, play tennis, I don’t care. Just don’t work or run for any type of office.

need to wait until she gets in office, she can’t pardon herself. Of course, her VP would, claiming national outcry andneed for closure. But the damage will be done and both Clintons will have the distinct pleasure of being first sitting presidential married couple to both to be impeached at one time or another. A sullied legacy.

Ever since the Suffragette movement, it has been the modus operandi to foist a woman candidate upon the American populace. The shining examples that are there for the record have not been ‘as the driven snow’, but they have all been eclipsed with, uh, ‘this one’. The Feminist movement from the start picked up the torch of a woman president, and have molded their ‘point-of-view’ of what Eleanore Roosevelt gave as an example. (hence, it has been of note how ‘this one’ has attempted to contact Eleanore.)
Then came Geraldine Ferraro, and it all started up again.

It is record that Comey is a family friend of the Clintons from way back.
Let’s lower Mr. Comey to his better status ... the “chuck up” of Pawn Stars named Chumley.
He has made such a shining example of the FBI, that the NKVD records would “be the varsity team”!
If Clinton truly did not perceive she was breaking the law, then she truly does not have the intellectual capability to be president.
Especially since this isn’t the first time she’s had run-ins with security regulations, and skirting them.
