I have heard in captive breeding situations when cougars are bonded with dogs the canine can actually be the dominant partner. So just don’t feed them together or the dog will gobble all of cougar’s food. lol

Oh, cheetah. I’m sorry. The cougar was really a joke. :)

It was a sort of double play on the overall cat theme, 1970s-80s rock group, who are now cougars...

I think they also observe the rule “don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” I know my housecat does.

The small ones (77 lbs) are about 2 1/2 times larger than a fully grown Maine Coon Cat.

Hate to rain on someone's parade here, but I certainly wouldn't get so cuddly with a cheetah. It is wild; NOT a domestic cat. Also wouldn't have a cheetah as a house pet, as in post #23.
If you're going to get so friendly with a male like Gabriel, better off neutering him which tends to make him more docile.

I suppose you do not think cat lovers know anything about neutering male cats?

I rescued a domestic cat whose under arm had been badly torn, who ended up with my cat, whose absolutely beautiful kittens were over 30 pounds, but not at all due to being fat.
