Inside the Six Weeks Donald Trump Was a Nonstop ‘Birther’
The New York Times ^ | July 2, 2016 | ASHLEY PARKER and STEVE EDER

Posted on 07/02/2016 9:17:50 PM PDT by Seizethecarp

In the birther movement, Mr. Trump recognized an opportunity to connect with the electorate over an issue many considered taboo: the discomfort, in some quarters of American society, with the election of the nation’s first black president. He harnessed it for political gain, beginning his connection with the largely white Republican base that, in his 2016 campaign, helped clinch his party’s nomination.

The more Mr. Trump questioned the legitimacy of Mr. Obama’s presidency, the better he performed in the early polls of the 2012 Republican field, springing from fifth place to a virtual tie for first.

That frenzied period culminated six weeks after it began in a surreal televised split screen between Mr. Trump and the White House briefing room, where aides released an image of the president’s birth certificate proving he was born in Honolulu and Mr. Obama directly addressed the issue.

It was a remarkable moment that Mr. Trump celebrated as a political victory.

Then Mr. Trump did something decidedly un-Trump-like: He dropped the issue and rarely spoke of it publicly again.

According to people apprised of the conversations, people close to him had been worried about the negative attention. Officials at NBC had also been concerned that he was alienating the large black audience of his hit show, “The Apprentice.”

But for all of his fascination with the president’s birth certificate, Mr. Trump apparently never dispatched investigators or made much of an effort to find the documents.

Dr. Alvin Onaka, the Hawaii state registrar who handled queries about Mr. Obama, said recently through a spokeswoman that he had no evidence or recollection of Mr. Trump or any of his representatives ever requesting the records from the Hawaii State Department of Health.

Bush didn't released them. His grades were leaked. As were Al Gore's.

Obama the untouchable had grades that were kryptonite to the leak loving media. And we know it's not because he was a straight A student.

O’Dunga’s a dunce and fraud.
At this point, I’ve lost interest in who and what he actually *is*.

I just want his reign of horror to end.

Never let truth get in the way of the agenda. The NY Slime will not relent in trying to defame and destroy those not in their rabid commie corner. Never forget, the slime is only there to report “all the news that fits.” A glorious day when Pinch goes bankrupt.

A news article says Obumbler has a 145 IQ what a joke, without his teleprompter he stutters and fumphers and gets his words mixed up. I think his IQ is more like 100.

Trump should have given someone 6 digit fee to spill the beans.

Re the Certificate of Live Birth for Obama. NOTICE how the NYT’s writer continually refer to the public being shown the “birth certificate”. That is an outright lie and the NTY must be called on this.

A COLB is not the original birth certificate and serious questions have been raised about the authenticity or accuracy of it.

I don’t give a flying f*ck if Obama was born in Kenya or not. His whole life has been one Marxist cover-up after another about nearly everything we’ve been told about him:
* His father’s commitment to pro-Soviet Marxism
* His father’s philandering and adultery re Obama’s mother.
* His white grandfather’s ties to Communist Party USA infiltrated if not dominated churches in Washington State, and his ties to CPUSA member Frank Marshall Davis in Hawaii.
* We know literally nothing about how close Obama was to F.M. Davis though some conservative researchers said that Davis was actually a “mentor” of his. Marshall’s books and writings apparently don’t say much about this though Obama talks about “Frank” in one of his so-called autobiographical books.

Prof. Paul Kengor covers this issue in his book “The Communist”, 2012, Threshold Editons/Mercury Ink, a Division of Simon and Schuster. Cliff Kincaid of “America’s Survival” organization has also done great work with FOIA requests for the Marshall file of the FBI.

* Nobody knows what Obama’s white grandmother’s views/affiliations were with radical groups from Chicago, to Kansas, Washington State and then Hawaii (if any - though her husband had some).

* Nobody knows just how much Obama believed in the “soft Marxism” approach of Saul Alinsky, who he greatly admired (Even Hillary Clinton criticized some of Alinsky’s tactics as impractical). (PS: I heard and met Alinsky in 1969. he was a sleazy Marxist activist).

* Almost nothing is known of Obama’s activities with the Marxist “Socialist Scholars Conferences” he attended in New York while at school, nor any groups he might have affiliated with at Harvard Law School.

*Almost nothing is known about his drug habits anywhere other than a few lines he and a friend have provided.

* Absolutely nothing significant has been written in the mainstream press about Obama’s ties to a Soviet asset/id. CPUSA member David Simon Canter, whose father was literally a founding member of the CPUSA and who worked for Stalin when he took his family to Russia in the late 20’s or early 30’s.

David Canter was said to “have known” Obama when both lived in Chicago (direct words of his son Marc) and where Canter was a key political kingmaker on the Left, including significantly managing the election for mayor campaign of hardcore leftist Harold Washington.

* Nothing has been said about any connections between Obama and Canter’s Marxist friend, Don Rose, an admitted old leftist since the 1940’s.

* Nobody knows exactly what went on in Bill Ayer’s house in Chicago in the mid-1990’s when Obama was chosen to run for the given-up (re-election) seat of pro-Soviet sympathizer Alice Palmer in the Illinois State Senate.

* Only conservatives have written anything of significance about just who was in Ayer’s house that night - a literally “who’s who” of the Chicago Marxist left (Quentin Young, id. CPUSA; Milton Cohen, id. CPUSA; Timuel Black, CP sympathizer; Alice Palmer and probably her husband, both Marxist-sympathizers (Black Independent Press); Bernadine Dohrn, Ayer’s Marxist Weathermen wife; and several others (not all of whom have been positively identified).

* The MSM has not told how CPUSA member Canter “mentored” Obama’s hardleft advisor David Axelrod, nor have they explored any radical ties his parents had with the CPUSA and/or its fronts/publications, etc. Their record has been extremely hard to find in available public materials.

* Literally nothing has been said about Obama’s ties to Valerie Jarrett, whose In-Laws had significant ties to the CPUSA, or even about her comment that “she had had her eyes on (Marxist revolutionary wannabe) Vann Jones long before she picked him to be Obama’s “Green Czar”.

* Nobody seemed interested in Obama advisor Anita Dunn’s incredible statement that her two most inspiring (she might have used another word similar to inspiring), people who influenced her thoughts were Mother Teresa and Mao Tse-tung.

One was a believer in God and did wonderful and merciful work among the poor of the world, while the other was Confuscius plagarizer, megalomaniac, genocidal killer and destroyer of China, Tibet, and even Korea (and much of their traditional culture, values, religious believes, and freedoms).

I could go on for months but you know what I’m saying.

COLB be damned. If Obama were an honest individual (I doubt if he was ever honest about anything other than when he said that he wanted to “fundamentally transform America” (into a Marxist state), he would have let everyone see his original birth certificate in the first place and that would have ended any doubts about where he was born, unless there is something on it that he doesn’t want Americans to know about.

Leave it to the NY Times to cover his red ass and attack Trump for asking a simple question, much in the vein that Clara Peller did when she asked “Where’s the beef” about hamburgers. All Trump and others have done is ask “Where’s the real birth certificate”?

What’s wrong with that?

Well, I guess the Washington Post didn’t want to bother to pay a team of 24 people to research Obama like they do with Trump.

Thank you for this very thorough, informative and thoughtful post. We are living in very dangerous times and if the cover ups continue, the bad guys/gals win. If more Freepers would explain how and why they believe what they do, then the information might have a better chance of getting out there beyond this site. It does no good simply to bash without explanation. You are making a difference. Have a great day!

I have found that it is better for my sanity not to look at the comments’ section at either the NYT or Washington Post. The comments’ section is generally an indicator of the readership of said paper or viewership of said news’ site. This indicates overwhelmingly that the readership of the NYT and WaPo are liberal, and that is no surprise at all because the articles are written from a liberal slant. The NYT and WaPo pride themselves as “elite” journalism, and their readers think they are very smart and intellectually elite because they read them. Then they all go to them comments’ section and proclaim how much smarter they are than stupid conservatives.

“NO WAY a 145 IQ mispronounces simple words corps like CORPSE!”

It shows also that he if a foreigner through and through and poorly educated. Columbia College of Columbia University and pronouncing that word that way. Not at all likely. His mother and his grandparents knew how to pronounce the word, one can bet.

He probably didn’t finish any classes in the regular colleges. If he was in the neighborhood, he was lurker.

Errors in the article:

1. “Mr. Trump recognized an opportunity to connect with the electorate”. Presumption. We have no idea what Mr. Trump’s motivations might have been. Pretty sure he never stated anything like that.

2. “the discomfort, in some quarters of American society, with the election of the nation’s first black president”. Projection. The racists at the NYT love to project their racism onto others. Speaking for myself, I have discomfort (far more than discomfort) with the election of the nation’s first ineligible, possibly non-American, president, who regardless of where he was born or what his nationality is, spent the majority of his formative years in foreign countries, and whose past is shrouded in mystery.

3. “aides released an image of the president’s birth certificate”. They did no such thing. They released an image of a “Certificate of Live Birth” which is not the same as a birth certificate. There is plenty of evidence that this COLB was forged or doctored.

4. “proving he was born in Honolulu”. This, being an image/forgery proves nothing. In fact, even if it were a true image of 0vomit’s COLB, it would not prove anything. IIRC, all it took to get a COLB in Hawaii at the time of 0vomit’s birth was to have someone swear that he was born there. There are numerous issues, too many to mention in this post, that would make “proof” impossible.

My speculation: Trump dropped the investigation into the BC for one or both of the following reasons:
1. Trump’s tv show was threatened.
2. The network told him to knock it off.
3. He decided to go after bigger fish. (running for President, exposure of 0vomit in more ways than just the fake BC, the Clintons, the RICO violations of most prominent democrats, the Clinton Crime Foundation, ..... )

That’s only because he is no longer useful. Up through the election of 2012, we were bombarded by media statements saying he was one of the most intelligent, if not THE most intelligent person to ever hold the office. Now they are trying to distance themselves from him.

My bet: Plenty of opposition research on media bigwigs. They are either in bed with the democrat party/communists or they are blackmailed or both. They risk serious jail time and/or financial ruin if they don’t deliver the stipulated narrative.

That is one of my great hopes for a Trump presidency. Amazingly, it probably is not even in the top 10! There are so many things that need to be done that are more important. But I want to see the lies exposed. I want to see many democrats (and more than a few Republican co-conspirators) in jail. And I’m insatiably curious to find out the details of how this hoax was perpetrated, who was ultimately behind it, who was in on it, and to what extent.

How wonderful that they are piling on. At some point , someone is going to actually analyze the factual history of Obama’s birth record. The more noise the better!

Thats worth being called racists! Hell, thats worth being shot at!

Actually, I think it’s somewhat possible.

It’s possible to be a genius (in mathematics, for example) and not be good with something like pronunciation. The problem is, it’s not just this one incident. It’s the overwhelming evidence from numerous incidents. It’s also the overwhelming lack of any actual accomplishments in his life. EVER. The lack of any transcripts, writing samples, SAT scores, LSAT scores, college admissions records, or anything else that would show even a modicum of intellect. The only writing example that I can recall seeing was a super lame attempt at poetry. (No, he did NOT write his books. They were ghost written. But I’m sure you already knew that!)

Bonus: Mispronouncing corpsman highlights the fact that he is totally out of his element with all things military.

“Birtherism” has nothing to do with Obama’s race. It has to do with the total non-existence of evidence that he is an American citizen.

Consider, trump could go to the microphone once sworn in and say, “My first official act as President is to begin immediately to restore integrity and legitamcy to our Fed Gov by ordering the immediate arrest of this gentleman here, Barry Soetero.”

All the writing samples that are verifiably from the pen of Soetoro (i.e., not written by Bill Ayers) have one thing in common:

He CANNOT get nouns and verbs to agree in number.

A sure sign of average IQ, at best.
