Hawaii is a bit of a problem, tho. Or Europe. Or Asia. Or anything further away than about 1,000 miles (2 long days drive).
Man, you let the government put you in a heck of a cage. I don’t let it confine me, but that is just me I suppose.
The point is to light a fire of concern.
I suppose one could take a cruise ship to a place like Hawaii, though that eats up quite a bit of time.
Choose what you believe is best given the reasons you have to do what you do.

I’ve no desire to go to Europe or Asia.
The last time I went overseas was to Scotland in 1996.
Driving the 1440 miles from Texas to L.A. can be done in two days.
I’ve done it a number of times.
To New York City is 1547 miles; haven’t made that run yet.
To Toronto is 1414 miles; I could drive there and take a plane from there if I wanted to go to europe.
