KEYWORDS: clinton; elections; hillary; polls; trump
The Reuters poll has taken a lot of flak recently for a variety of reasons, the two main ones being it's an online poll and heavily weighted to Democrats. That said, last Friday, Trump was down 47-33. This week, we've seen a 5 point swing to 44-35.

The major takeaway from this polling is that the trend overall is Trump is closing the gap. Whether it's Rasmussen which shows Trump with a lead, or Q-Poll showing a statistical tie, or PPP with a 4 point Clinton lead, the clear message is that Hillary's bump is over, Trump's recent slide has been arrested, and this race is far more competitive than the media would have you believe.

Yeah like D +18% over R. LoL.

If this poll ever gets close to even, it will be Trump in a landslide.

Rooters. Can't even hang a hat on that. Listen, polls this far out can be anywhere. More likely than not, they are wish lists, designed to shape public opinion. The major media outlets have been shown to make up news, mis-characterize news, create stories out of whole cloth... Why should we give their polls any more credibility. They can say ANYTHING now, and tighten up just before the election.

In my opinion, the overwhelming majority of Americans have already made up their minds on the presidential election. I mean, what more information does anyone need? Maybe 3 or 4 per cent are undecided. No more than that.

If he continues to hammer the Clintons about their obvious corruption regarding the plane meetup, he could start making some serious gains.
At least I think he could. Who knows? It seems many Americans have no problem with the Clintons getting away with it. It's cool to them.

They got into overdrive to respond to Rasmussen’s Trump +4 and Q poll Clinton + 2.

Clinton lead, the clear message is that Hillary's bump is over, Trump's recent slide has been arrested, and this race is far more

I love it when "Clinton" and "arrested" are in the same sentence.

I wonder if the media is going to say how this was an absolute horrible week for Clinton, like they do every week about Trump.

Trump was never genuinely down 47-33, and I’d wager every poll that shows Clinton better than -5 against him is inaccurate. I bet we’re seeing the biggest Bradley Effect ever.

According to this Hillary leads among likely MALE voters by 10 percentage points. They used 413 males to arrive at that result.

She leads among likely female voters by 10%. They used 667 females to arrive at that result.

They used 667 females to 413 males when the female/male voting rate is 52/48. That’s unusual.

They also used 423 republicans, 507 democrats, and 139 other/independent.

So the breakout was approximately: 1069 party affiliation total, with 47% democrats,39% republicans, and 13% independent/other. This, too is highly unusual.

Hillary still can’t break 50% despite a 9 point lead.

And a heavily biased D+ sample.

Unusual? How about just phoney?

Accepted registration mix is about 34D, 27R, and about 40Ind. Trump is currently carrying Ind in virtuallyvevery poll and also leads strongly among men.

Talk about a garbage poll? One reason for this and others like it. They must keep the RCP average of polls safely in Clintons favor to keep the Liberals interested.

Phony works for me. :>)

But I prefer “manipulation of the public”.

Whatever happens this campaign DON’T get despondent because of the polls - the establishment use the polls to suppress the vote - BREXIT is the perfect example, no polls on election day, even the exit polls showed a remain win, the markets said an 80% chance of remain - they were wrong.

If Trump doesn’t win in a landslide I’d be very surprised.

Prayers for you all.

One other thing. I don’t want the marooon Reuter/Ipsos pollsters to be changing their metrics from 2 to 3 weeks ago. I want them to stick to their absurd numbers so we can have a benchmark to measure their continuous polling. D +18% over R, and just as totally absurd D ~+40% over I, et al...

Reuters is the last vestige of the old British neo-Nazi movement. Here’s the Reuters’ Nazis manipulating photos to smear Israel:

They can say ANYTHING now, and tighten up just before the election.

Exactly. That's why all these polls are nothing but propaganda.

I think most Americans, in their hearts, know the real score at this point. And they're angry.

And they're not particularly interested in responding to "public opinion" polls that are weighted for Democrats so ridiculously.

If these "Hillary is leading" polls are the best the Establishment & Media (but I repeat myself) can do, all the while transparently propping up Hillary to the nth degree, the absolute max, then Hillary is in yuuuuuge trouble when Americans finally get to attend the real poll in November.

The American People simply are not stupid enough to elect Hillary Clinton at this moment in history. It would be magnitudes more foolish than electing even 0bama. I believe there truly is a limit to the stupidity of the American People, and this is one of those moments, not entirely unlike what happened in 1980.

If Hillary wins, then we all know what will happen: dogs sleeping with cats. Period. End of story.

So Vote Trump, for Heaven's sake!
