That’s quite sad really. I believe some of us here are gonna end up the same way...

Let go and let God. I believe Carlin was an atheist. He was so angry at all of the things wrong in the world, and the heartlessness and horror of it, that he rejected God - at least with his mind. IMO, however, God looks at the heart, and his heart was full of care for people. I pray he's in a good place now, he brought a lot of relief to millions of people for a long time, and warned about great dangers.

Carlin gave up on God when he was young. He had seen little “heartlessness and horror” at that point. He was more interested in drugs, drink and fame. Just because Carlin sometimes spoke the truth doesn’t change the fact he was a life long liberal Democrat.

You say “his heart was full of care for people”. Based on what? He was substantially no different than other Hollywood liberals. I’m not saying he had no care for people - everyone knows he adored his first wife, for instance. In the end, he died a shriveled up, angry man, who accomplished much for stand up comedy and next to nothing for the human race. How ironic it would be if he was upset at the political correctness that his dirtbag, hippie generation help usher in.
