Department of Justice officials filed a motion in federal court late Wednesday seeking a 27-month delay in producing correspondence between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s four top aides and officials with the Clinton Foundation and Teneo Holdings, a closely allied public relations firm that Bill Clinton helped launch.

Evidence indicates Hillary and aides did not sign exit forms. Signing the exit form would have cutoff access to State Dept info......info the Clintons rely on to cash-in. Note Brian Pagliano-—Hillary’s personal IT-—left her employ then surfaced on the public payroll as a State Dept contractor.

27 months would be close to the mid-term elections for Hillary’s first term Presidency. But they could certainly get another extension about mid-2018.
I spent 35 years in IT. Producing these e-mails is a one day project for a competent database analyst.
The hard work is redacting the useful information and hiding the actual content. It takes time to hide information and delete records in a non-traceable way, which is why they respond with printed records.
Actually, this is really good, since it creates a market for the hacked emails. Obviously there’s something there, so in addition to that eventually getting leaked, the fact that the info gets provided by a hacker also re-raises the national security issue regarding her private server.

The headline is misleading. The DOJ filled a motion in the court. That does not mean that the motion will be granted. In fact, strategically it could be a serious blunder. If denied, the denial and order to produce the documents could be timed quite close to the general election.
