I agree with your point of view. Sadly, you won’t get too much support here. Free Republic is cheering on women registering for the draft. Don’t let anyone kid you: selective service is used to draft people into war.
In large part, I think, to hold the government (and courts) to the standards that they assert are appropriate, as well as putting it to the women's rights people.
