The rules don’t apply equally to everyone, but the optics of this are either indicative of major hubris or total stupidity.
Correct me if I am wrong, but is there not a separate FBI investigation into a pay for play scheme involving the Clinton Foundation? If so, Clinton himself might be considered a suspect if he solicited donations in return for quid pro quo from his wife as Sec of State. One also has to wonder if part of the investigation does not involve the ridiculous speaking fees he received from companies that benefitted in some way from her decisions.
This looks bad, but nobody in the MSM appears to have the slightest interest. Go figure. Go back and compare the media allegations and insinuations regarding Haliburton and Cheney/Bush. It’s a drop of water compared to the Clinton puddle.

Bill and Hill later used Lynch’s private law firm for their own legal work.
