The genetics of the Bramble Cay melomys may be wholly lost as well. Tissue samples were taken of 42 individuals in 1998, but the whereabouts of these samples are currently unknown...
Well, scientists certainly know how to run a tight ship!

That mouse didn't stand a chance.

Oh, and btw, who gives a crap? It's a damned mouse, and since it was living there in the first place, it must have gotten there from elsewhere, somehow, entirely without human help.

The alarmists sound as if they imagined the climate did not change and the sea level did not fall and rise until the 20th century. The changes in sea level and temp during the few decades they are losing their minds over is tiny when you zoom out to thousands of years and has no significance and is not in the least unusual.

Sea level has slowly risen for a long long time. It will eventually reverse itself over a long time. And it isn't perceptibly faster now then it appears to have been in the past.

I like giving people the benefit of the doubt before calling them frauds....but I don't have much doubt left. The alarmists who claim to be "scientists" or "journalists of science" seem like they must be frauds. Either incompetent or dishonest or both.

Yep. Its sickening but true. And there are so many examples of it.

Our economy sucks and the Middle East is on fire because Obama has focused his energy on blaming political opponents rather than fixing problems.

But then what skill set does a "community organizer" have for fixing problems?

"There, it thrived off just a few plant species until human-caused climate change—in the form of rising sea levels and increasing inundations of sea water on the low-lying island—wiped it off the planet."

I literally cannot take anything the article says seriously after this statement.

“...with the possible exceptions of alligators and hair lice...”

Cockroaches and houseflies are here for the duration.

The ‘journalist’ is not only dumb as a post regarding the TRUTH about AGL, the writing of a title line is beyond the education of the fool.

Extinction by Bureocracy,

The UN should sue the government of Australia for a few Billion dollars for the genocide and extinction of an entire species, and of course they would put the money to good use /s

In point of fact they could have put them in the pet trade and created a population of millions.
