Germanys minimum wage will go up by four percent next year, to 8.84 ($9.79) per hour. [ ]
The German DPA news agency reports that the head of the independent commission tasked with setting the minimum wage, Jan Zilius, said Tuesday the rise is in line with recent wage agreements in various sectors.

Oh for gods sake. Going up 90 cents which 45 cents goes to taxes isn’t going to kill anyone. We went up 4 dollars in the last couple years in many areas. I think the minimum wage should get the raise social security gets every year. Maybe they will make the social security raise more serious. And no I don’t get SS for over 25 years.
Way to miss the point. There ought not be governmental involvement in issues like this.
