THE IRISH coast guard has today issued a nationwide warning for the East Coast as hundreds of thousands of British refugees risk their lives to cross the Irish sea in an attempt to flee the impoverished and unstable nation.

Dinghies overflowing with desperate migrants are so far half way through their journey, many with women and children aboard, wishing to make a new start on the Emerald Isle.

They are making jokes about the BREXIT supporters implying that Britain will soon become impoverished when leaving the EU.

It is more like the opposite. The Irish will be fleeing Ireland and go to Britain to escape the draconian EU.

Too bad, they may die. Sounds like they made a bad choice illegally entering the UK. Bad choices should have bad consequences.

I had a friend this weekend who said that the UK would soon be like Haiti because they are both islands. I reminded him that British history predates the EU by a 1000 years. He said, “yes, but that’s history”.

Equally funny that they are NOT British refugees. They are refugees from somewhere else who were in the UK illegally who are not fleeing the UK.

The remain supporters are trying to make this whole event as bad as they possibly can in any way they possibly can. Even if they have to lie. Which comes as easily for them as falling off a log.

Uhhhh.....also remind your friend that Haiti is like Haiti because it was overwhelmed by masses of people from other lands who are incapable of self government.

Not “John Bull”. It is the further migration of the illegal immigrants now in England who are fleeing.

Odd they would not be swarming back to the European mainland. Maybe some are.

They’ve got it backwards. The Irish people may wish to flee the EU once the dust settles.

I did. You can guess his response for criticizing the way black people choose to live and work. I mentioned that Haitians and Jamaicans blame everything on “island time” , but you’ll never see a Brit show up 2 hours late for a meeting and just say “ Island time, mon.” as an excuse.

We should look at making England and Ireland our 51st and 52nd states, or maybe kick out AK and HI and make them the 49th and 50th states.

It takes 9 hours, 15 minutes to fly to Anchorage; 10 hours, 5 minutes to Honolulu. (non stop in both cases)

It takes 7 hours to fly to Dublin, 7 hours 15 minutes to fly to London. (again non-stop)

That is, after they become England and Ireland again, instead of dumping grounds for the rest of Europe and Africa. It’s more likely than not that a much larger % of current Americans have English or Irish ancestry than any other country (except possibly Germany) at least for now. It would take less than a generation of transition for the US and UK/Ireland to meld.

Of course, there’s that whole monarchy thing to be worked out. We’d have gone full circle ....
