Hardly anybody wants to speak at Trump's convention
Politico ^ | June 27, 2016 | ALEX ISENSTADT

A slot at the GOP convention used to be a career-maker — a chance to make your name on the big stage and to catch the eye of the Republican donors and activists who make or break campaigns.

In the year of Trump: Not so much.

With the convention less than a month away, POLITICO contacted more than 50 prominent governors, senators, and House members to gauge their interest in speaking. Only a few said they were open to it — and everyone else said they either weren’t planning on it, didn’t want to, weren’t going to Cleveland at all, or simply didn’t respond.

No speeches please. How about a performance by Up With People?

Here’s an idea. How about letting everyday, normal Americans speak and tell their stories? Soldiers, veterans, policemen, housewives, single moms, etc. Listening to a bunch of thieving politicians pass gas has gotten pretty old anyway. Kind of like watching the monkeys in the “monkey house” at the zoo.

I’ll speak. So will millions and millions of others.

All I can tell these simpering cowards and schemers is that if you’re going to plot against the king, you’d damned well better kill him. Hell to pay if you don’t succeed. Hell to pay if you do, in fact.

Give some time to the American-hating, Mexican-flag-waving Hillary supporters if Rs don’t want the stage. Hillary supporters’ hatred of America is a great argument for Trump.

The question on my mind is who will deliver the stem winding speech to get the crowd in a proper pro Trump frame of mind.

There will be such a speech . Who will deliver it?

Who will marry Republicanism with Trumpism to excite the convention to delirium?

The stinking RATS led on their knees
by the Bishop RAT Romney and his Toads
such as the truly Globalist-RAT Cruz,
should all get drunk together with their
second and third wives and bankers in one bed.

For at that Convention,
America will speak with Mr. Trump.

Bolton.
Palin.
The Speaker. (not Ryno).

Anyone else Trump wants.

==> WINNING CONVENTION

If Hillary ends up in the White House she will owe a great debt to the stupid idiots in the Republican party who are throwing a tantrum because an outsider beat them at their own game.

Totally agree .... the “elites”, the “globalists”, the “open borders” #RepublicansForHillary should not be the ones on stage subtly fragging Trump. There are plenty of Americans who believe in the country as founded who could speak out - regular Americans as well as those in politics who have had the courage to genuinely support Trump. I don’t think who speaks at the convention will be a problem at all - it will probably be the most ‘refreshing’ convention we’ve had in a long time without all the RINO milquetoast pantywaists showing up to lie to us yet again.

Do we really need a cadre of boring, BS filled speeches from backstabbing RINOs??

Here is the list of people that should speak:
Trump’s wife and kids
Carl Icahn
Paul Manafort
Mike Huckabee
Chris Christie (if he can make his speech about Trump this time)
Jeff Sessions
Duncan Hunter Jr.
Rick Scott
Pam Bondi
Surviving Benghazi contractors
Ben Carson
Jeannine Pirro

That’s a good list so far, and I would bet none of these folks would turn down an invite.

I would be happy to speak too. Trump has already said he wants different people-—sports stars, Hollywood, business people. No one wants to hear Sen. Foghorn Leghorn.

GOP Leadership (?) ignoring the will of the people as it has done for the past 6 years. My hope is that the party leadership will unite behind Trump before the convention and work to save this country from continued racial and socialistic rule.

As a personal note, Trump was not my first pick but I will support him financially after the convention. I am holding back for fear of a dirty trick being pulled during the convention that would deny him the candidacy or endorsement from prominent Republicans. It is my hope that sore losers like the Bush family will support him rather than abandoning the country to the likes of Hillary Clinton. Like it or not, this is a time to pick the lesser of two evils. Fail to choose and the option may not be available in the future.

You and I have something substantive invested in it. The RINOs and elites do not. All they have is the protection of their own petty treason against us.

My advice to them is to flee to Brazil and Argentina before the occupation forces get them. :0)

I would bet any amount of money that it gets higher ratings than Romney’s convention.

Politico means, "NO treasonous Establishment Republics(D) are willing to publicly put Country-before-UniParty; USA-before-NWO; Trump-before-Hitlery; Logic-before-Insanity" at the Convention. Their globalist Puppetmeisters wouldn't like that at all.

Kasick, Cruz, Bush (all THREE of them), and McCain can speak at The Hag's Dem Convention for all I care.

Instead we will hear THE best, most inspiring pro-America speeches at the Republican (I) convention EVER.
