The anti-vax people remind you of anyone? Bernie supporters and others who attack conservative speakers and people attending Trump rallies perhaps? These people are the Brown-shirts of the lunatic fringe.

Pro-vaccers are often tyrants who want to force people to do what they don’t want to do.

I have debated anti-vax people on several websites and found them frequently vicious. It is a religion to many of them. Logical points are dismissed in favor of junk science and emotion.

I’ll have to come back later and finish the article. It’s extremely long. Meanwhile, was anyone prosecuted or at least reported to the police? Otherwise, nothing will change.

Anti vax, Pro Trump supporter here. There goes your argument. I’m anti-anything someone else tells me to do because they think I’m too stupid to research, weigh the risk/benefits and make an informed decision based on the circumstances and risk.

They take marginal science and turn it into a credo

Most have never soon a polio wars or cases of whooping cough or seen the damage done by measles

Not surprised. Anti-vaxers are fueled by emotion, not logic.

Both pro-vaccers and anti-vaccers are nuts...

the best strategy is not to get the flu shot all the damned time (they hardly ever pick the right strain of flu to vaccinate against) , but only get vaccines for yourself and your children for ONLY the deadly horrible stuff and make sure to space them out reasonably.

I don’t trust the vaccine makers who put in substances that act as accelerators so they can skimp on the weakened/dead virus particles.

And I don’t trust our government to keep out illegals that carry all sorts of diseases we used to have stamped out in this country.

Moderation....

Complete Shiite! So families who are concerned about the safety and efficacy of government coerced vaccinations are brow shirts and NAZIs? Families that want freedom of choice and conscience concerning vaccinations are Sanders Socialists? How about you do some research on John Holdren, Obama’s Science Czar. Then come back and have an informed argument.

I am pro freedom. My one child that I stuck all these diseases and immune adjuvants (metals) and media and preservatives into his infant bloodstream before he had created a healthy biome (the immune system) is neurologically permanently damaged. Because I believed the men in the white coats and didn’t do proper research.

It is foolish to defend vaccines as they are today when their manufacture and combinations are 1950s science and scarily ignorant of current immune-genetic knowledge. And when vaccines are the ONLY product eerily exempt from any manufacturer liability at all.

Why would a FReeper defend (primitive) medical tyranny?

Those who seek security over freedom receive and deserve neither.

Government mandated injections is not a conservative position, it's more of a fascist position of medical and government partnership. Of course you know that a bill was passed in the '70s protecting the drug companies from liability, so they can f you up while smiling at you all the while.

Now we have illegals bringing back disease previously eradicated from the states, and somehow it's the fault of those who are conservative and against mandated vaccinations.

Pining_4_TX is is either truly ignorant or a tool.

The anti-vax crowd is susceptible to beliefs such as miniscule amounts of mercury being used in the manufacturing process causing autism.

Even though the mercury doesn’t contaminate the samples, they believe that since “it’s close” it does and, even in the smallest amount, can do extensive damage.

Even though mercury is dangerous, it takes more than a fractional exposure to have a problem.

So I see these folks similar to the same set of folks that have fallen for the government sponsored belief that trivial amounts of cigarette smoke are as harmful as radioactive waste.

Couple that with the hyper-reactive parent and you have an explosive combination.

You basically have someone who figures they “know better” and are pissed off when someone doesn’t follow their script.

These are also the same people who:

1) Will go up to smokers and give them crap on the street for smoking. (ironic, as they have to move closer to that dangerous smoke in order to do that).

2) Will scream at the top of their lungs at any car they think is driving to fast through their neighborhood. Some will even go into the street to try and flag down such drivers. (again ironic, as if the level of speed is that dangerous, you’d get away, not run towards it)

Follow the money - millions are being made on vaccines. (not even touching on the methods to control/depopulate and take control of the One Worlders...

Anti-vacs have no money to make - just want to save their kids. You want to ignore the evidence - you want to play Russian Roulette with your kids - your choice. Leave us ours.

Argue these -

You use the rationale: If you don’t vaccinate y our kids - ours could get sick.
Same rational gun-grabbers use.

Puzzling.

People and cattle both need vaccinations. Want to be fairly safe drinking raw milk produced by a clean and trusted neighbor? Make sure that the neighbor’s cows were vaccinated against bangs, and that the neighbor follows dairy sanitation regulations.

Keep in mind that the spike in whooping cough, TB, measles, Enterovirus68, etc. perfectly coincide with His Arrogance’s ignoring the immigration rules.

I followed this thread with much interest. Truthfully, when I saw the topic posted...I was like...Oh Noes!!

I always find both sides of the argument interesting.

Truthfully...if I had children...they would be vaccinated. Especially against small pox, polio. I am divided about measles, mumps and chicken pox. We all had those diseases as kids. But with the decrease in the ability that people have to combat disease and infection, I would consider it strongly.

Also important, not only are people coming to this country that aren’t vaccinated....we travel much more to foreign countries.

If I had kids..I would vaccinate. I don’t like the thought of “multiple vaccine” combinations. I don’t even do that to my pets. But if one is willing to pay it can be done.

If a person doesn’t want to vaccinate...rock on. The health of your child maybe at stake.
