Thanks for the reply.

I was thinking that after Rubio decided he was not going to run for senator, he was encouraged by outside forces to re enter precisely to stop Beruff from getting the seat in the senate, thus pulling it more to the right.

Would love to know what type of sugar was used to sweeten the deal.

You're right - it's soooooo predictable.

Chris Wallace has his GOPe round table - united in their hatred of Donald Trump...

Then Chuck Todd's merry band of democrats who all think alike and speak off sheets of democrat talking points...

It's 'elites talking to elites'... and it's more boring than watching paint dry.

At least watching paint dry has a purpose.

They don’t try to appear even remotely unbiased. To listen to them, you would think the millions of Trump supporters are aliens from another planet somehow invading the elections.

You will notice that Hillary Clinton is not on the talk shows. I think she did one with the guy from the Clinton administration. Name escapes me for the moment. She is afraid she will make a slip up.

Diversity and multiculturalism are not strengths despite the Orwellian use of language. The US is not immune to Balkanization by race, language, ethnicity, and culture.

I refuse to accept guilt over any traits my ancestry have/had; as they are ALL human traits that are not particular to ANY race, creed, origin or religion. Show me slavery, war, hatred, cruelty, bigotry, stinginess, selfishness, and indifference, and I’ll show that it all belongs to every one of us... Along with love, peace, brotherhood, sisterhood, friendliness, generosity and selflessness; as all are human traits, too.

A little too Polyannish for me. All civilizations and cultures are not equal. The forces that shape them also shape their citizens. Yes, we are all humans, but we are products of where we come from. Western civilization is superior to all others. And the legacy of the English-speaking people of the world needs to be preserved.

Rubio said in the interview, mentioning Trump’s name unprompted

Key part here. The GOP are going out of their way to frag Trump.

I'm betting on a personal level (within their circle), NONE of these so-called journalists know ONE person who would vote for Trump.

New York Times 'journalists' write for the benefit for the guy one desk over in their newsroom... TV 'journalists' speak for each other - - they live in three small group-think bubbles...New York, Washington and Hollywood.. They are totally out of touch will millions of Americans, citizens of Europe and even those struggling in the ME.

To top it off - the press wonders why they're not trusted or listened to...

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

CHUCK TODD: It [Hillary campaign advert] obviously picks up on what was a head-scratching event earlier this week, Mr. Manafort. Which is on the day of the biggest news event in the world, he is in the country at the heart of this and he's promoting a golf course.

PAUL MANAFORT: This is an example, again, of the tone-deafness of the Clinton campaign. First of all, when you look at what was happening in the Clinton campaign over the last month, they have spent $60 million against Donald Trump on ads like this, talking about things that are totally distracting--distractive and unconnected to what's going on in the American political system.

The American people care about what is going to happen to their lives, about change. And the issues of Brexit, this kind of phony ad doesn't address those things. And Hillary Clinton is ignoring the reality because she's part of the establishment. She can't get away from the fact that she is part of the problem that's being rejected.

So when she tries to distract with commercials like this, she's once again showing that she is absolutely afraid of the consequences of what Brexit represented and what the Trump phenomenon in the primaries represented, which is historic numbers of people voting for change against the establishment.

Transcript: This Week - June 26, 2016 - ABC News

STEPHANOPOULOS: You know, you -- I want to go back to the poll. One of the other things the poll shows is that only 77 percent of Republicans are now supporting Donald Trump. That's a number -- you can't win if the number is that low.

Your friend, George Will, the conservative columnist, just announced over the weekend that he's now no longer a Republican. He's left the party.

And one of our own senators, Mark Kirk, Republican from Illinois, is taking direct aim at Donald Trump. Let's take a look at.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Mark Kirk bucked his party to say Donald Trump is not fit to be commander-in-chief. Mark Kirk, courageous and independent.

SEN. MARK KIRK (R), ILLINOIS: I'm Mark Kirk and I approved this message.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

STEPHANOPOULOS: How can Mr. Trump win if the party is this divided and you've got your own senators making ads like that?

MCCONNELL: Well, Mark Kirk is an independent senator and that's why he got elected in Illinois and why he's going to be reelected this fall.

What I would reassure my friend George Will of is that the Republican Party is still going to be America's conservative party. America needs two parties. We have a liberal party and a conservative party.

If you look at the platform that will be written at our conservative, we are not changing the basic principles that Republicans believe in. Our nominee may not agree with every single one of the, but the Republican Party will remain America's conservative party.

Transcript: Fox News Sunday - June 26, 2016 - FoxNews

WALLACE: Donald Trump is drawing parallels between Brexit and his campaign here in the U.S. but that was a vote about a bureaucracy in Brussels. Not a choice between two candidates. Also, the number of minority voters is twice as high, about 25 percent versus 13 percent in this country as opposed to Great Britain.

Aren't there big differences?

GINGRICH: Well, there are some significant differences. I would point out, by the way, that the week before in both Turin and Rome, reform candidates from a new party founded by a comedian won -- the first woman elected in the history of Rome in 2,800 years won with 65 percent against all of the traditional parties. ...

WALLACE: Now, Secretary Clinton tied Brexit to her argument that Donald Trump is unqualified to be president. In a statement she issued, she said this, "This time of uncertainty only underscores the need for calm, steady, experienced leadership in the White House."

Your response?

GINGRICH: I think it's hysterical.

She was wrong on Brexit. She wanted the remain vote to win. She was wrong on Libya. She thought somehow it would get better if we knock off Gadhafi. She was wrong on the reset with Russia.

I mean, what has she been right about? You need more of this kind of experience?

It's a little bit like Casey Stengel once asked if anybody at the Mets could play the game. I mean, there's no reason to believe that Hillary Clinton's experiences qualify her for anything except retirement.

WALLACE: But isn't there an argument it's better to be experienced than inexperienced?

Click on the transcript link to read Newt's reply - it's very very good.

That is becoming clearer every day. The convention will be a disaster if this is allowed to continue.

“Another Sunday and still no Cruz. They’re freezing him out, I tell ya!”

He pretty much avoided them when he was running. I think in the end he started to go on them more frequently but it was to late.
