Environmentalists are freaking out that Britain voted in favor of leaving the European Union on Thursday– something activists claim will be “catastrophic” for the environment.
British environmentalists took to Twitter to vent their fears about leaving the EU after the “Brexit” vote. Activists have been arguing for months that leaving the EU would allow “climate deniers” to gain more power and undo environmental protections.
From an environmental perspective this is catastrophic. Fight now on to ensure EU standards maintained and cooperation on climate continues.

Put the environmental wack jobs on notice that for those who can’t handle reality and decide to off themselves, that their remains will be freeze dried and sold for burning in the wintertime for extra heat.
The insiders with well trod paths to the powerful - be they enviros, bankers, or lobbyists - are pissed that they have to negotiate new special preferences in a new power structure.

I think we are at the point where “Environmentalists” will claim that anything that doesn’t conform to the Socialist/big government agenda is going to be “catastrophic” for nature.

Environmentalists who believe that mankind is damaging the Earth should set an example and “save mother earth” by “aborting” themselves.

What they are saying is that the EU would clamp down on free speech even more then the Brits unfortunately do. I am so glad this vote went our way!
Of things that shall be negatively impacted by “Brexit”, environmental “concern”s, are pretty close to the bottom of the list.
It is still virtually impossible for “the environment” to be either negatively or positively impacted by the activities of mankind, for more than a very short period of time, or over more than a very limited area. Highly urbanized areas, with dense human populations, can and do have direct effects on the immediate area, but these effects wax and wane depending, in part, on the season of the year, and the general climate in the immediate area. Most of “nature” outside the urban area gets along just fine, thank you, even with fairly frequent visits by humanity, with most of the signs of passage of people gone within a few days or weeks, until the next influx comes along. Nature has a wonderfully accommodating capability of absorbing and reprocessing most human debris into more compatible substances in relatively short order.
