The common dialogue is that the boy should have been disarmed by the suspected burglars and killed with his own handgun. Since this did not happen the story will quietly disappear from public view and discussion.
According to the ‘left’, the above is what usually happens if you have a gun in your house. Are there any factual stories where the criminal disarms the resident and kills the resident with their own gun? I do not believe I have ever heard of an actual event of this sort.
Probably has occurred but it would be a small percentage, to be sure.
Plus, the unknown factor of how many crimes are avoided simply because the criminal does not know what he/she would face. For me, I use lights and dogs to secure my living areas besides 2A.
