Ted Cruz types can keep him in line. We’re talking 6 years. You folks are losing it.

Wrong. Guy is a liar and a betrayer. I won't vote for him.

So long as we have Trump in the White House and republican control of the Senate, Rubio is harmless.

Do you remember how we got to Jumping Jim Jeffords?

Rubio has no beliefs at all and will follow Trump so long as Trump is popular - and then admittedly betray America if Trump loses popularity. It’s not much, but it’s better than an honest democrat who really believes in the position that Rubio takes out of convenience when those positions poll well.

Rubio is a La Raza Republican. His loyalty is there. If Trump was on fire he would not give him his bottle of water.

“..the Senate’s role of being able to act as a check and balance on bad ideas from the president...”

Still waiting Marco.

I agree with you. The folks in Florida need to think about this good and hard.

Apparently Rubio has been “thinking.” Rubio today: “The prospect of a Trump presidency is also worrisome to me.”

This daily Trump fragging nonsense from the GOP is in no way helpful to Trump.

He will not get my vote

He fooled me once

Well put.
Not getting my vote either.
A total screw-up who rarely showed up to do the job he was elected to do - He’s a joke - even if Trump “decides” to like him, Rubio still won’t get my vote.

He was considered a tea party candidate back when he started. If he makes it to the general, and I lived in Florida, I would have to vote for him.
Yes he’s definitely tarnished, but he is better than about a dozen republican senators. Not saying much, but better than the alternative.

I would prefer he would be primaried out by a conservative candidate. But would vote for him in the general.

Jolly realized he was going to lose in the senate primary and decided to run for his old seat against Crist after all. The polls show him well ahead of Crist. So you’re voting for Murphy? Or Grayson? My suggestion is that you get past your distaste for Rubio.

"“I think no matter who wins this presidential election, the Senate’s role of being able to act as a check and balance on bad ideas from the presidentI think [is] going to matter more in 2017 than they perhaps ever have in our history.”"

If it didn't matter with anything Obama did, why would it matter now?

Wants to run again in 2020 for POTUS

Marco Antonio Rubio won't be eligible in 2020, 2024, 2028, 2032, or ever.

Re-elect Nobody.

Todd Wilcox is running against Rubio in the primary, and I am eager to vote against Rubio in a primary for the second time this year.

Rubio lied.

Mookabooker LIED about his support for amnesty over and over.
Then instead of doing his job he missed more votes than any other Senator.
I will not again vote for a RINO.
Hey young marco, go fish.

I’ll vote for him, I think he’s seen the light.

Same here. He was young when he went to Washington. I think he got sucked in with the wrong crowd "Hang out with us and you'll go places, Marco!"

I'll give him another chance to get it right. He's mostly a good guy.

I’m going to vote for Carlos Beruff in the primary but I’ll support the R candidate in the general. That said, if the GOPe keep trying to screw Trump, I might leave the rest of my ballot blank.

Here is the entire interview on MSNBC. Rubio kept saying “if all I’ll ever be is a senator from Florida..I will be at peace with that”. Throughout the interview he looks like he’s ready to cry and begrudgedly running to be a “mere” senator. See link, especially around 4:50.

I’ll vote for Marco again. But, he’ll get the wrath of the Florida voters if he pulls his bullshit again! (He kind of already got the wrath of the Florida voters once by rejecting him in our state’s primary!)

I agree. That is an excellent definition of Rubio. And he has proven his word means nothing.
