That may be how the MSM is spinning it but the fact remains that many people reported Mateen to authorities and the FBI did a 10 month investigation of Mateen.

The Obama administration did nothing to stop him and prevent the shooting.

That is why the media is talking about gun control. They do not want the public to know how bad the Obama administration is.
