Apple disses Trump, because of course they should
San Francisco Chronicle ^ | June 21, 2016 | Mark Morford

Will hardcore Trump supporters – like this sweet, all-American Arizona voter – stop buying iPhones? Will iPhone fans who also love Trump now hurl their devices into the sewer and switch to Samsung, a vaguely creepy foreign company that doesn’t give a damn about US politics, and will therefore happily support a hunk of rotting asparagus if it will sell them more Galaxy S’?

I said well they have nothing to attract you. Time to sell. She did and with my prodding again bought Amazon ( hated Bobos but the company is a disruptor) She bought at noon and in the after market it jumped $100. I am the hero.

Amazon's Bezos is a huge Obama supporter (owns the Washington Post), a huge donor to the Democrat party, and also a Hillary supporter. What have you gained by investing in his company that does not produce a profit or dividends? Amazon is driving Mom and Pop businesses out of business across this country, so you are right, it is a disrupter, destroying shopping districts and destroying jobs. His business model is to sell things below cost until he has a monopoly. He is the ultimate Crony Capitalist.

> "...I’m going to just stay away from all that political stuff..." -- Steve Jobs

> Steve kept Apple out of politics.

It is a great disappointment to me, as a longtime user of Apple products (as well as everything else under the sun, of course), that Tim Cook has decided to take Steve Jobs' company into not just politics, but IDENTITY politics as well.

I'm not about to stop using Apple gear -- it's among the best in the world and I enjoy using it -- but I hope that this cr@p stops soon, perhaps with Tim Cook being given the bum's rush by the stockholders because of the loss of value in recent months.

But I'm not holding my breath.

Steve kept Apple out of politics.

Tim Cook ain't no Steve Jobs. Cook has no vision. China is eating Cook's lunch. Apple Stock is doing poorly under Cook. Cook needs to resign.

Try changing your battery you iphone users!

My iPhone is used every day.

My iPhone is 4 years old.

My iPhone can go 2 days without being charged. It has been as long a 4 days on standby with no problem.

My Droid phone died at about 3:00pm everyday, necessitating me to swap batteries. I actually had two chargers and four batteries between home and work.

Ya'll can place and twist your Droid phones. I've had both. iPhones are better.

That doesn't mean I support Apple's politics...it just means they build a better phone.

This may be an unfair question to ask you, and if you think it is, I am fine if you simply ignore it.

If YOU were going to switch brands, what brand would you choose?

That the SF Chronicle despises Samsung makes me all the more happy I own a Samsung phone. Kiss off, Apple, you bunch of commie libs.

FUApple. You users of slave factories.

Every computer pad or phone maker uses the same labor but only Apple gets blamed. Selective outrage, cool.

I don’t like Bezos either. However my wife doesn’t understand double polar laser technology, either do I. However she shops online, packages arrive here each day, my daughters shop online too, their packages arrive here also. She understands Amazon. She is comfortable with it. What high tech company isn’t in bed with the libs?

Life is good without an apple product.

I had a teacher back in the early fifties tell me if I had never eaten anything but rotten eggs, I would never know what a good one tasted like. He was right.

I am only one person, but my entire family uses Apple products.....that is going to stop.

Maybe you should read some real life stories of those who switched from Apple to M$ and not just the fake hit pieces. You will be back in under a year.

Every major corporation today has an established gay group as does all of our fighting forces and every government agency. Blaming Cook for all the troubles we face is just childish, but it does give Apple haters an issue.

I am tracking Target. Another gay CEO who is crashing the company.

J.C. Penny is another one. J.C. is surely flipping over in his grave.

Oh I have used a few here and there but never owned one. So it’s not like I haven’t tasted. I have and I reject their flavor. Have a smooth day.

The Pervert Cook has ruined Apple for me.

Same here. I like to mix my purchases of electronics, phones and computers. I will never buy anything Apple again. A movie star once said, "Why should I piss off half my fans by talking politics?" Apple should lose half its customers being so ultra-gay and liberal. Tim Cook is pissed off at all Americans who say gay marriage is a joke and an abomination. He does this in public by trying to punish Alabama, North Carolina and others states that reject gay marriage and tranny bathrooms. I hope Apple flames out and goes into a death spiral.
