Sharon Tate's sister Debra has handed in a petition with 139,000 signatures on it to California governor Jerry Brown, appealing to him to intervene in the parole release of a Charles Manson follower.
The actress was murdered by Manson's gang at the age of 26 in August 1969.
Tate, who was eight months pregnant by film director husband Roman Polanski, was one of seven people killed in two separate massacres.

Carburetors.
I heard Bill O’Rielly maintain that they should give killers life sentences. What about the life sentence Sharon’s mother and sister Patti got having to fight the parole of this scum until the day they died? Debra is the only one left to carry on the fight.
Van Houten let herself become under the spell of Charles Manson and participated in a murder.
If I had to let one of them out of prison, it would be Van Houten.
Karla Faye Tucker was demonic.
I find it interesting that there’s usually an attempt to slant the vicious murder of Tate and her friends as “random” when it’s pretty obvious that the house was targeted because it belonged to a music producer Terry Melcher (who managed the Byrds and Paul Revere and the Raiders) who rejected Manson. The producer was out of town and rented/loaned the place out to Polanski and his girlfriend.
That’s just his opinion..doesn’t count for much. It’s no comfort to people like Tate’s sister who, as mentioned, has had a life sentence of making sure justice is held onto by a thread.
Let’s feed them, clothe them, and give them opportunity to kill others while in prison..right?
If anybody says a death penalty isn’t a deterrent, it’s because they aren’t thinking ahead. It prevents further killings by the killer. Yes, it deters.
And, if it didn’t take 20 years to carry out, would save the cost of housing that one prisoner. It also lets the surviving victims attempt to get on with their lives.
Furthermore, these people often have other crimes in connection to the murder so a jail sentence for a murder on top of lengthy sentences for the other crimes, means the prisoner isn’t punished for the murder itself since he/she’s going to prison anyway.
Not all murders are death penalty bait, but the worst of the worst should definitely be eliminated.
When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, peoples hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong. Ecclesiastes 8:11

Nikki was beaten, RAPED, strangled with her own shoelaces, wrapped in a green blanket, which was then tied, by David Keen, he dumped her body into the river off the old Auction Street Boat Dock in Memphis, TN. She drowned to death. Nikki was alive as Keen RAPED her. DNA proved he did and he eventually confessed to the crime. 2 juries, up held the Death Sentence. All State and Federals Appeals are done. Yet he still sits on Tennessee Death Row because Tennessee's RINO governor won't sign the Death Warrant for this Child Rapist/Killer.
Nearly 27 years of waiting for justice for Nikki.

Murder in Memphis, Deborah Groseclose http://www.publishersweekly.com/978-0-88282-157-3 This creep hired men to murder his young wife. Let them into the house, while he slipped out with the kids. She was Raped, stabbed, beaten, strangled until she passed out. Stuffed into the trunk of her car, which was then relocated down town, where she is still alive, she COOKED TO DEATH in the 100 + summer temps of Memphis. A anti-death penalty federal judge and 2 state supreme court judges kept blocking the use of the DP. They finally were retried, found guilty again, and given Life WITH parole. There is 1 sick sister left to fight the parole hearings.
