There isn’t much point in piling on the Delta male reporter mentioned, since above-linked article does such a good job of it. And there really isn’t any good reason to try to Greek-alphabetize President Obama in regards to the whole AR-15 hammer-of-doom, autonomous-baby-killer smoke screen, mainly because his goals have nothing to do with the personal safety of the herd members.

Kinda a lightweight article. But it does show that shotguns kill more every year than assault rifles (leftest daffynition). And look at handguns.

The recoil bruised my shoulder, which can happen if you don't know what you're doing.
You have to really not know what you are doing to get a bruise. The AR recoil is nothing like the Enfield.
The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face.

For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.
I don't know what to say to this. This guy should stay indoors at all times, he might melt in a rainstorm.

It's important for people to understand that their strategy is one of incrementalism. Their goal is a complete ban on private ownership of firearms (and anything else that can be construed as a weapon, like knives in Britain). They want to accomplish this one "sensible" gun law at a time. The reason they won't punish criminal misuse of weapons is because criminals, like other types of human trash are large and important constituency groups for politicians. That and the fact that the self-serving, rapacious, greedy and corrupt American political class fervently believes that the government should have a monopoly on the use of violence. There has never been a more important time in our country's history for citizens to own personal weapons and acquire skill in their use. Half of American society is literally descending into barbarism, and there's great danger ahead.
