One of the reasons I support the NRA is because I’ve watched the slippery slope at work in so many other facets of our lives. They do want to take all of the guns, and we must fight every battle to either stop the seizures or slow them to a snail’s pace. The term “assault weapon” is concocted to scare low-information sheeple into supporting an outright ban on guns (and those sheeple are too stupid to realize it).

Yes, But it might be prudent for true patriots to buy some large PVC tubes, stuff it with a firearm and ammo and bury it in an obscure location. ...bury in national forest or other public property (don't be seen), bury on neighbor's property, find a piece of land that is owned and not developed...also, how is the print your own gun movement going? And if we are feeling extra frisky buy extra pvc pipe and put steel pipe in it and pack with grease...do that many more times than hiding weapons..actually, if any of you feel like not caching weapons, just cache decoys. There are ways to make it frustrating and time consuming.
The liberal/democrat view of the nation is a nation of dependents waiting for a handout or crumbs from the ruling liberal elite. They want no threat from an armed populace. They want suppliant voters who will keep them in power. Contrast this with our founding fathers who valued liberty and freedom above all. The choice could not be more clear.
Of course they do - this whole ‘AR15’ thing is just a straw man.
They won’t be happy until the populace is totally disarmed and the Second Amendment is disregarded de facto if not de jure.
