Was he wearing body armor when he committed the massacre? I hadn’t read that. If so maybe he was able to purchase what he was asking for at this store, military grade stuff, someplace else. And who that was would be interesting to know. Meanwhile it’s sad to note how slow and incompetent political correctness has made what was once the premier law enforcement agency on the planet.

Wasn't the FBI already aware of Mateen, and had questioned him? You mean to tell me they didn't have photos of him, or of other Florida individuals known to have terrorist leanings that they could have shown the gunshop employee to possibly identify him? What about a store video?

A search shows this shop is in Jensen Beach, about 134 miles from Orlando. Why not search through the known threats within a certain radius of the store, and show photos to the gun store? More could have been done on the part of the FBI to try to identify the individual, but they are lazy dicks, who want the public to do their job for them. The FBI is great with excuses, but lack initiative.
