Different states have different laws on whether an individual may buy body armor / types of protection.
Also, California is close to approving legislation that tracks all ammo purchases, ie: a registry.

I’m thinking the same thing. The only investigating probably done by the FBI was to decide if the store owner had violated the rights of the Fine Muslim Gentleman by thinking that he might be a terrorist.
The gun shop owner should have walked outside and got his license plate number.

After the bombing in Olypic park I realized that the FBI cannot find its azz with both hands. Somewhat comforting on a certain level. Oh wait I didn’t say that. :-)
A search shows this shop is in Jensen Beach, about 134 miles from Orlando. Why not search through the known threats within a certain radius of the store, and show photos to the gun store? More could have been done on the part of the FBI to try to identify the individual, but they are lazy dicks, who want the public to do their job for them. The FBI is great with excuses, but lack initiative.

Jensen Beach, FL 34957 go to google maps i couldnt see outside cameras but if you walk inside they have a monitor showing 8 cameras to the side of entrance. they also have a monitor when you walk in the front door showing those that walk in and a couple of parking places in front.

In re: body armor, not sure whether or not illegal, but many places won't sell to anybody who isn't provably LEO (Mateen having an armed security ticket may have so 'qualified'). As far as ammo goes, no, not illegal...

I have bought a Henry .22 and a Ruger Lc9s there.
They do have a surveillance system and are a very well run outfit.

But then you see the dictates coming from the White House and their appointed officials that the military and domestic law enforcement not use the term “Islamic terrorism” in their training and operations, and reports from ex-employees of databases that were connecting the dots on Islamic terrorism being decommissioned.
I don’t think this event is the fault of the rank and file FBI investigator. This is a direct result of Obama standing with Muslims over and above the American people.
