Senator Cruz Defends 2A on the Floor of the Senate, Excoriates Obama Terrorism Fail

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz

Senator Ted Cruz does a superb job of exposing Democrats using a terror attack to attack the Constitution.  As is to be expected, the leftist media is attacking it as a “terrible” speech.  Read or watch it for yourself and draw your own conclusions.

Mr. CRUZ.

Madam President, our Nation is at war. Five days ago, we saw a horrific terror attack in Orlando, FL. From September 11 to the Boston Marathon, from Fort Hood to Chattanooga, from San Bernardino to this attack in Orlando, radical Islamic terrorism has declared jihad on America. As the facts have unfolded, they now indicate that the Orlando terrorist had pledged his allegiance to ISIS in the process of murdering 49 and wounding more than 50 at a nightclub.

All of our hearts go out to those who were murdered. To the families of those who were victims and who are grieving, we stand in solidarity, we lift them up in prayer at this horrific act of terrorism. But it is also a time for action. We need a Commander in Chief who will speak the truth, who will address the enemy we face, who will unleash the full force and fury of the American military on defeating ISIS and defeating radical Islamic terrorists.

In the wake of the attack, many of us predicted what would unfold, and it was, sadly, the same political tale we have seen over and over again. Many of us predicted that Democrats would, as a matter of rigid partisan ideology, refuse even to say the words “radical Islamic terrorist”; that they would suggest this attack was yet another isolated incident, one lone criminal, not connected to any global ideology, not connected

When is Ted Cruz going to endorse Donald Trump?

That's the question of the times - without it, he may as well shoot for some Circuit Court Judgeship...

When Trump has the brains to stop repeating himself in his speeches and starts talking specifics instead of saying it’s bad, really bad. How bad Donald, what’s bad? Crooked Hillary? How why, what ? We know you won the primaries,we know, you should be speaking about the facts about Obama and Hillary.
Here is some advice Donald for free, listen to TED Cruzs speech on the Senate Floor and take notes, immitate as best you can, then ask him to be your VP

“This is the Man who should have been the Republican nominee,Trump should pick him as VP”

It is sad to see these two talented and forceful leaders let their egos prevent them from forming a dynamic and unbeatable team.

Very, very, sad.

Good post. Good to see Sen. Cruz on this path. He can be very helpful against America’s enemies.

True THAT!

Cruz has a great pony show going for him, on the mouth circuit. That is how he smarmied the rubes, with that mouth of his.

He, however, never in reality harms a hair on the head of a single globalist agenda.

I have decided I am not concerned that Tedlit will run in 2020.

The Wall Street machine doesn’t have to settle for Cruz next time, and have cheerfully moved on past Cruz to Paul Ryan. They will carry Paul Ryan on their wheels with great relief and will start early.

I could could care less about slowing the American economy just to give the average American man with average intelligence a crap manufacturing job

When you disregard the average intelligence American work you are nothing but a liberal elitist, and you get an economy like we have now.

Children of foreign nationals are not natural born citizens.
Cubanadians are not eligible any more than Omar Mateen would have been in 6 years.

Cruz is an enemy of anything and all things TRUMP.

No endorsement, no future.

Trust matters. TRUMP could never trust a man who despises him and is a chronicled political climber.

Go away, globalist Cruz.

That he is pro-Second Amendment cannot be disputed.

That won't keep a few folks around here from trying. He committed the unpardonable (in some eyes) sin of opposing Trump.

If Trump is elected, he will need Cruz to counter the influence of McConnell in the Senate. For all the vitriol, their policies align much more closely than anyone else. They need to form a tactical alliance after the election, even if they duel for the nomination in 2020. On a side note, I, for the life of me, can't understand how McConnell manages to function after having his spine surgically removed.
