I recall when Trump first announced his run, I was listening to Rush at the time. His message sounded good and I wanted to hear more.
But what I also remember is Rush snickered at it, he never took it serious, like it was some sort of joke. That ticked me off as I knew Trump was a doer with a big ego and there was a good chance he meant it.
What a year it has been. Trump has completely turned the political world upside down, but more importantly he’s exposed all the traitors and backstabbers that reside in the GOP including a bunch of fraudulent “conservatives”.

For the first five or six months, I reasoned that DJT was there to bulldoze the media and GOPe underbrush clearing the path for TC. For some reason, Ted Cruz was advised to go INTO the briers and brambles to seek another path other than following Trump’s lead. And he took the woefully bad advice and parted company with DJT. That was an historically bad decision by TC.

Donald Trump. Oh my goodness. You know, the Lord gave me a vision. I’m not political,I’m not for either party.

But the Spirit of the Lord told me that there was a prayer, there was something he had as a younger man with the Lord that the Lord marked his life and separated him, and because of that is the prosperity that [he]has experienced, come on his life, in spite of what people believe of his belief systems. But this is a man who is going to be used of God to bring to light a lot of dirt. For many years to come you’re going to hear him as a man who started in the forefront and in the media to expose the secrets of darkness in society and in government here in America.

Trump’s only been a politician for one year. And that’s a good thing. He would agree. Dam the torpedoes, full steam ahead.
GO TRUMP GO!
I thought it was a publicity stunt. I had seen Trump on TV and news, but never watched his TV programs, etc. I chuckled when he would say or do things in 2012 regarding that election.
I didn’t take him seriously last June.
I saw extremely positive comments regarding some of this early rallies. So, I finally pulled up a live stream and watched. This spiel seemed disconnected and rambling, but mesmerizing. By the end I was going ‘hummmmm’.
I watched a couple more rallies the following days. The two things I especially noticed: (1) he was speaking from the heart and (2) he seemed sincere. He certainly wasn’t giving the same ole focus-group-approved politico-speak speeches the ‘regular’ politicians were giving.
I am for him. I have posted several times: If he does 1/2 of what he promises as president, he will be 10 times better than the last 4 presidents. He certainly couldn’t do much worse than the professional politicians who have created the messes we have.
Mr. Trump until that day, Independence Day which followed soon after, was looked upon as being the last our country would celebrate. Personal mood was one of despair, sadness, grief, and anger. After hearing/seeing you actually walk to the forefront and prove to the country this time you planned to stick around and finish the job you began several years ago, gave hope that AMERICA would have one last chance of survival. Your appearance onto the scene caused everything to change. With very little doubt, I became one of your first supporters. Faith had much to do with that decision.
The next anniversary, let us be celebrating the progress which Americans hope to see in the transformation of our country back to the country our Founding Fathers envisioned.
May the Lord continue to watch over you and your family, our United States and Americans. Amen.
