trump and the gop's jurassic park (Barf alert)

The American people know extremism when they see it.

This is very unfortunate for Donald Trump. And it is a nightmare for Republican leaders who see more clearly every day how his candidacy has become a trap: They desperately want to free themselves from the moral wreckage Trump leaves behind but are stuck with a nominee who speaks for a majority of their rank and file.

Those who lack confidence in the public’s ability to make rational judgments often argue that horrendous acts — of terrorism, for example — will shake the majority from its commitment to civil liberties, pluralism and tolerance. This view reflects a profound mistrust of the good sense and ethical discernment of the average citizen.

The paradox is that Trump, who claims to speak for the people, shares this very low opinion of who Americans are.

Yeah it’s really really going to be true. Reading Dionne is like needing another hole in your head.

It is pretty amazing and unprecedented to witness so many folks at so many “high” levels and offices or positions of power, absolutely going Ape Sh*t” 24/7.
The ONLY Trap that the Trump candidacy represents is the ossified media group-think-mind-set that has absolutely crippled free and original thinking in this country.\

Whether Trump wins or losses, this period in our history will be termed, “The 2016 Presidential Elections and how to PREVENT a candidate from running and then winning”.

There has never been such a concerted effort by the thousands of talking heads to degrade a candidate. All day and all night long, no matter what TV station or media you turn on or tune in to, the arguments around those round table discussions has nothing to do with the elections or the issues at stake for this country. It's all about bad mouthing, via “intelligent” arguments, Donald Trump. He is the epicenter of their existence and he must be politically destroyed by any means, preferable using his own words against him.

If the founding Fathers were alive and tracking this election, they would probably reconvene in Philadelphia and cancel the formation of this most perfect Union...
a “trap”.

Reading Dionne is like needing another hole in your head.Reading Dionne is like needing another hole in your head.

At the same time, reading Dione is to learn what passes or conventional wisdom inside the Beltway.

What Dionne writes is what they are actually saying and thinking at the cocktail parities in Georgetown.

Those of us outside the Beltway consider Dionne efete and out-of-touch. But, inside the Beltway, he is Connected and Perceptive.

DT has the authority to act as the leader of free people now; free people have made their choice. The leader of the free should not depend on the vote of the despots and the slaves. They have given their allegiance to foreign invaders and have no rights among us; our constitutional contract applies to America not the Enemies of America. It makes as much sense to give Iranian Ayatollahs the right to vote as those whose ideology blindly supports them.

If this is a new day on s war footing then DT needs to ask for more of us than campaigning and voting. He has to take counsel and begin wearing the boots of a general. Calling for a massive march would be one thing to put up for discussion. Things might get hot but a lot of uncommitted would get off the fence in freedom’s favor. Employ “occupy wall street” against DC and force the Petulant Child to commit blatant overreach. The armed forces are our allies, not his. Force his hand so they must disobey his orders and we can fill the prisons with DC elitists.

Tactics are disputable, but Donald Trump CIC of Free America, today, is not, except among those whose plan to forge our chains or relish wearing them. The view from street level.

Looks like Trump knew what he was doing when he revoked the credentials for this communist rag.

Too bad Ryan and others may as well be writing for them.....

To those of us who are paying attention, we certainly hope there is an analogy.

GOPe1: "I can see the complete capitulation to the Left from here! We can make it if we run!

GOPe2: (walks slowly, as if he realized something) "No. We can't."

GOPe1: "Why not?"

GOPe2: "Because we're being hunted. From the Trump headquarters straight ahead."

Are you really advocating for a military coup, the imprisonment of all who oppose him and the installation of DT as CIC “now” and “wearing the boots of a general”, without a general election?

Care to explain?
