Has anybody seen Donald J Trump's tweet today about his planned meeting with the NRA?

If that gets instituted tomorrow the list will be expanded to cover all Christians and conservatives by the end of the summer.
Trump doesn’t know Obama and Hillary want to use this list to disarm American conservatives.
But Trump’s a quick study... he’ll figure it out...
There has to be an appeal mechanism that is fair and timely.
Otherwise, anybody can be placed on the list, where they will rot, gunless, forever.
I support it except for Muslim jihadist Grover Norquist who wants to allow Islamic terrorists to buy guns, no questions asked.
Pepple on the no fly list should not be allowed to buy weapons, period.
And the NRA should get behind it.
We already know the government is a branch of the DNC.
That’s all fine until you wind up on the list for no reason.
This is a big misstep by Trump, and I hope the NRA will explain it to him.
Sounds to me like he is just wanting to get informed analysis from the experts on a proposal
being tossed around by the Dems. The NRA is the most knowledgeable group in the world in firearms policy so it makes sense that someone not as knowledgeable about firearms would seek them out for analysis. I am confident as to what the NRA will recommend and equally confident that Trump will follow their recommendation.
No problem is list is transparent, explained, and appealable. Otherwise, no.
The constitution is exactly like the bible, if you believe, it is all, or nothing.

I tend to agree. It may be that the process for getting on the no-fly list needs to be tightened up, made somewhat transparent, allow for appeals, etc., but it makes no sense that the government has decreed that you can’t get on an airplane, but at the same time has no problem with you buying weapons that common felons cannot.

Not to mention the fact that these mouthbreathers can’t even get common sense stuff like profiling and border security right. Lets see them actually act like they care about the safety of citizens before we give them the benefit of the doubt about any lists.

Problem is government does not want to share who is on list, why, nor provide means to remove person. This the list could be 1,000 or 100,000,000 people. Who knows.

Oh yeah? How exactly do you get ON that list? Hmm? And what due process is involved? How do you get off the list? How can you get off the list if you are wrongly put on it? Hmm?
