IIRC there have been tests of semi-auto fire where people have gotten to pretty high rates of fire with semiauto ARs.
I think 300+ rpm.
And then those bump-fire systems that come pretty close to full auto rpm. I’ve seen estimates up there at 700rpm or more.
Not that this has all that much to do with deadliness in a civilian context. How much would full auto affect homicide rates ? I don’t think it will, at all.
