“For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.”

It was his time of the month.

“One point of order its .556 not .566”

Actually, it is 5.56mm. Just sayin’.

Clearly we need to set up a “go fund me” page to buy New York Daily News reporter Gersh Kuntzman a lifetime supply of Depends.

I’d be willing to bet that he (?) pisses his pants whenever a car blows its horn, an air conditioner cycles on, or a telephone rings.

Geez-O-Pete! It’s a frick’n .22!

I’d love to see this snowflake shoot anything in the .30+ range. I used to have (tragic boating accident) an over/under Browning 12GA that kicked real well as well.

Mules got nothing on Browning, Remington, Winchester and the like.

Back in the day I used to work with a guy that had a .44. He had some guy making hot reloads for him.

He would wet himself If he shot my 7mm mag rifle, it has a nice kick. The recoil never bothered me, but dagnabit that 7mm mag is loud.

I like my 6” .357mag for occasional range time, and that .44mag’s a real handful. I daily carry a 5” 1911 .45cal ACP. Good enough for what I need.

I put 100 through my M1A on Sunday after I put 200 through my AR. I’d love to hand this idiot a 45-70 amid watch the reaction, or a Mosin.

SaveFerris said: "Now once on that was enough for me."

I was given some ammo by a friend leaving the state which included some 3 1/2 inch magnum 12 guage shells. I will never fire another one in my life.

It was super unpleasant. Very loud and a very hard kick. I was not entertained in the least.

Just heard Marc Levin sarcastically suggest that AR-15's be painted pink, to appease some tender sensibilities. Something like this?

When he’s done with your M44 he can try my M98 mauser in .45-70.He’ll really like the 500 grain loads.

I've got one of those Navy Arms .45-70 Mausers.I can stand some recoil, but that thing is at my upper limit. It is a one shot boar killer and that's it's only redeeming quality.

I would have been better off getting a complete conversion but tried to get by on the cheap. I knew it would probably require some action work. Before doing it tho I wanted to make sure that it wouldn’t feed the 45-70 as is.

I already had a Siamese Mauser I had bought several years earlier for almost nothing. I had a good barrel put on the action by E.R. Shaw. The barreled action fit the original stock but as I mentioned, it kicked like a mule mostly because of the stock design.

It would only feed the top round reliably. I had decided to go ahead and have a gunsmith do the work but ended up selling it at a gun show.

The actions were made in Japan and everyone says they were extremely strong. Probably could stand really powerful loads.

I’ve shot some pretty hot loads through mine,500 grain lyman cast bullet at 1800 FPS.The recoil is fierce.

I'm comfortable with any of my big bore revolvers. The T/C Encore pistol shooting a 175 gr .308 and the T/C Contender shooting a 170 gr 30-30 are pretty darn painful.
