What we need is exactly to strike back hard. That’s what all those killed and maimed in terror attacks would want.

This was not an accident, where you just feel sorry for the victims. This was a deliberate murderous act, where not only the perpetrator needs to be punished, but action taken to prevent such things from happening again and again. The only way that can be done is to seek out and kill the terrorists before they come here and murder us.

Was it Bush or Rumsfeld that said something like: “we need to go and kill them over there, before they come and kill us over here.”

Here’s the bottom line. Mateen, though maybe a conflicted homosexual muslim, killed those people because of islam.

All muslims, radicals or so-called moderates, are taught to hate and kill unbelievers. They might not all act on the teachings, but all certainly believe and agree with the teachings.

There should be zero muslims in America.

The Donald is not merely resonating, he is remastering, reprocessing, and amplifying the growing voices within that territory once known as “the United States of America”, that something has to be done about the presence of terrorists, particularly of the Islamic variety, and the total chaos that is being permitted, no, ENCOURAGED, at every hand, here and abroad, by the Current Regime and those who sympathize with them.

Is restoration possible? Not only yes, but HELL yeah, but it will be uncomfortable for a lot of folks, maybe for a long time.

The alternative is even more uncomfortable, and for a lot more people, and for a much longer time. We are already on that road, and it is time to get off. Or at least spin a full 180 degrees from the current direction in which we are traveling.

The writer does not understand "empathy." What all thoughtful people want is not a grievance counselor, after a terrorist incident, but a firm hand in a Government, intent on fulfilling its Constitutional functions. What are those Constitutional functions?

The Preamble to the Constitution does not leave any doubt. How do you do this other than by putting America & Americans first in every application of the delegated functions:

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Unfortunately, the Congress & present Administration have avoided putting America & the rooted posterity of Americans first. They behave like their duty is to some sort of fantasy of a humanist world purpose, rather than to the specific people they are sworn to serve. Blathering or gobbling about "empathy" shows not empathy, but indifference to reality--something very, very far from genuine empathy.

Look at how Trump reacts: He’s cool until you hit him, then he hits back twice as hard and political correctness be damned. He will have the same response to jihadists. That is the only response this enemy will respect. (Respect may not be the best word, but it’s close)

Or maybe it's because Trump honestly believes what he said in his speech yesterday, contrary to your typical DC politician who is selfishly ok as long as the perks are there, compromised, or (worse) actually in sync with the terrorists. He has been consistent on this issue.

We don't need empathy right now in this country Mr Cilizza--in fact, we've had an overabundance of empathy towards a mindset that wants to kill us.

What this country needs is resolve to end the foolishness we've seen for at least the last 7 years, if not more.
