Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump early Monday lashed out at President Obama and Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the wake of a mass shooting at an Orlando, Fla., gay nightclub.
"There's never been anything to this extent," Trump said during a phone call on Fox News's "Fox and Friends." "There's no uniforms involved, but it's war, it's absolute war."
"We better get smart or it's only going to get worse," continued Trump, who on Sunday said that Obama should step down as president and suggested that Clinton withdraw from the White House race.
"This man has no clue," Trump said Monday of Obama, who has called the shooting that left 50 people dead and 53 more injured an "act of terror and hate."
"The shooter was licensed ... he would have passed the test the president would have thrown up there," Trump said of a push for gun control after the shooting. Trump called the suspected shooter Omar Mateen a "maniac."
Trump said Obama is either "not tough, not smart or has something else in mind."
Trump also ripped into Clinton as not up to the task as commander in chief. The former secretary of State on Sunday called for the U.S. to "redouble our efforts to defend our country from threats at home and abroad."
"She's a weak person, she's weak on so many different levels," Trump said, pointing to remarks from a former Secret Service agent, saying the agent described her as "almost like a maniac."
Trump called for potential suspects to be identified within the United States. Several Muslim groups on Sunday condemned the shooting in Florida, which has been characterized as domestic terrorism, though the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) claimed responsibility online.

The democrats were faced with the following:
A Muslim (one of their “coalition of the oppressed” partners), gunned down 50 gays (another “coalition of the oppressed” partners) who were largely Hispanic and black(two other “coalition of the oppressed” partners). Therefore, their only choice was to pivot to gun control and “hate crime” tactics.
Muslims have been elevated above both gays and women in the “coalition of the oppressed”, that is why you will never see or hear a “feminist” denounce honor killings, forced arranged marriages, female circumcision, or the oppression of wives and daughters inside Muslim homes here in the US. Neither will any gay leaders denounce anti-gay Islamic policies, where gays are routinely executed in Muslim countries, and this attack was clearly driven by those policies, but I saw gay leaders in Orlando announcing that they stand firmly with the Muslim brothers.
When will women wake up and realize that they are only used by the left who dangle them as bait to attract black men, Hispanic men and Muslim men into supporting the left?
When will gays wake up to the fact that Muslims outrank them in the “coalition of the oppressed” and that importing more and more Muslims into the country will lead to the erosion of “gay rights”?
Democrats seem to think an attack on America requires the invaders to wear “uniforms”.
STUPID, aren’t they?
You could launch 100 wars, you could make every patrol car in America into a Humvee, but if you don’t have sane immigration policies, none of all those measures would make a bit of difference.
the first step is to exclude Muslims from being immigrants into the USA.
Then we need a huge wall.
It will be interesting to see where Trump’s poll numbers are later this week. My firs reaction when I read of this attack was, “Trump just won.”

Me too. I hope it gave him a huge increase. Have you seen the intense visceral outpouring of hatred toward Trump from the media? I happened to tune in to an ABC news program and while the commentator (some woman I never heard of) was obsequiously praising Hillary and the turd in the white hut, she was also viciously attacking Trump as reveling in the tragedy. I guess the media just can't handle the fact that he is right about islam and it makes their pointy little heads explode.
