Belgium doesn’t exactly have an aggressive foreign policy either...something the Left blames us for...saying we are responsible for them hating us...so what’s the excuse for why they attack Belgium?

“Latest Trump Tweet - Is President Obama going to finally mention the words radical Islamic terrorism? If he doesn’t he should immediately resign in disgrace.”

I listened to some of obama’s statement, and I can’t take much, but had to hit the mute button when obama started on the “gun violence” garbage. Like all guns are going to start shooting all by themselves.

He had a thorough background check and was a mid-level security guard. In other words, gun control laws failed.

What I would like to say would probably get me either zotted on FR, visited by Secret Service, or both.

Now, if you will excuse me, I’m going outside to hand my yellow “Don’t Tread on Me” flag.

Oh, and another thing: From that infamous, yet repeated post about how to stop Donald Trump, I suggest all review #8
(again for those who haven’t seen it):

...wrote this on a FR back on September 4, 2015

Here’s my take:

Let’s say Trump stays on top during the primaries, and they see the nomination in his grasp. Here are the options for the RNC/GOPe/RINOs or whatever you call them:

1. Pass a new rule to an open ballot at the GOP convention, then threaten every delegate with campaign fund freeze out if they cast a vote for Trump on the floor.

2. Start packing GOP caucuses with democrats (I suspect they’ll try this anyway)

3. IRS audit of Trump or his family’s holdings.

4. Swating of the Trump offices (if you don’t know what ‘swating is’, google it)

5. Someone or something represented by Gloria Alred (they always whip this card out when they are desperate. No doubt she’s on the bench waiting)

6. Deny Secret Service protection, drop itinerary details to your Central american or tango from team jihad currently climbing a southern fence.

7. Give Secret Service protection, and insert “contractors-for-hire” within. Lookup “Plausible Deniability”.

8. Cause a mass causality incident; blame Trump’s rhetoric.

9. Come up with a reason he can’t get a security clearance, then run with it.

10. If none of the above works and Trump wins the nomination, either run a RINO as 3rd party, or the whole GOPe endorses the democrat nominee.

Oh, and BTW: To the enemies of America who are no doubt reading this and may be getting ideas, the way the political and economic climate is these days, ANY of these scenarios happening would probably ignite a 2nd civil war.

just my $02.
jimjohn - out.

Gun control where the mass murderer was a security guard and had a special license. Where is the logic.

“We should be calling for ‘impeachment”.
This is definitely a day late and a dollar short.......should have been done a looonnnng time ago; however, our dear congress did nothing.

Don't be surprised if the Whitehouse looks like a Rainbow soon.

I'm sure that Jarrett has the workers out there already, screwing in the multi-colored light bulbs.

Focusing on the "violence against homosexuals" angle, along with the always-simmering gun-control initiatives - that's how they'll try to play this. Islam? Jihad? ISIS? Never hear of 'em.

We must treat Islam like we did Communism in the cold war. Control them—watch them—see if they are supported by outside groups from other lands.

Reminds me of a great line from the original House of Cards (not the American version, but the UK BBC version from the 90s):

“Who would be a leader in this wicked world?”

America has the answer: Donald Trump

This is ALL on Congress...they had the means and opportunity to impeach Zero loooooong ago.

No, this is all on American voters who twice ignored our Constitution and allowed an ineligible to usurp the Presidency.

This is where Trump is totally going against conventional wisdom, and winning with it. It’s amazing.

If he’d gone with the reasoned response you suggest, he’s using the emotional words tragically, fears, fear and sadly. It’s not a strong statement from a strong leader, and it’s got negative emotions all over it. It grabs no attention.

Trump’s tweet will grab headlines because of the “appreciate the congrats”, but that will lead people to the whole tweet, that has so many strong leader words that it’s pointless to edit the superfluous ones out. It’s dripping with positive, strong words.

Your idea of carefully crafted language that tries to avoid giving the media a cudgel seems like a good one, until you realize that if they aren’t handed a cudgel they’ll just make one up.

Instead, Trump uses the predictable way the media manipulates snippets out of context to generate free publicity for what Trump actually said or meant. Anybody for a Taco Bowl on Cinco De Mayo?

The appreciation for the congrats has just enough braggadocio to make it irresistible to the media...it’s so Trump!

Trump is winning this the wrong way, but winning he is. I think Hillary isn’t going to know what hit her, if she’s allowed to continue as the nominee.

Judging from comments posted even the progressive cesspool of the Democratic Underground seems to be backing away from Obama over radical Islamic terror. Yes indeed I did don a body condom.

The tell-all books will be written before the history books.

The tell-all books will be BRUTAL.

I think Obama has outlived his usefulness to the press. It’s getting harder for them by the day to insist he’s still relevant.

In the end, I’m guessing Obama’s “legacy” will be much like Jimmy Carter’s. The press will give him a very laudatory send-off, and then forget about him for 20 years — particularly if the economy takes off like a rocket after he’s gone.
