The furor over Trumps assaults on the impartiality of a Latino judge had just begun to subside when he lobbed two tweets Friday morning responding to Warren, who had lambasted him as a "thin-skinned, racist bully" in a speech the previous evening.
"Pocahontas is at it again!" Trump wrote in one. "Goofy Elizabeth Warren, one of the least productive U.S. Senators, has a nasty mouth."

The response to the Pocahontas remarks have been mixed and in many cases muted - a sign of how jittery GOP leaders are still trying to find their comfort level with his rhetoric.

Romney told CNN on Friday that he was worried Trump's language could lead to "trickle-down racism" in the country.
When asked why he persists in calling Warren "Pocahontas" and what he makes of the alarm it has caused among some Republicans, Trump responded bluntly in a statement Friday: "Because she is a nasty person, a terrible U.S. Senator, and it drives her crazy."

I don’t see any problem with this remark. Warren was dubbed “Lieawatha” long ago.
If one reads Jonah Goldberg’s book “ Liberal Fascism,” or any historical work on fascism by people like Dr. Gilbert Allardyce, the cult of personality actually is a major aspect of fascist movements in general, like the present Obama fascist movement now accosting the USA focused upon destroying civil society, social order and the middle class, also common traits of historical fascism.
Winston Churchill and others discovered that the secrets to
combating fascist appeal to the general public were three fold, and they should be used in tandem:
1) disclosure of misdeeds ( expose them to light)through the press and media, even if extra-national
2) open public criticism of misdeeds as ridiculously illegitimate, contrary to freedom.
3) personal ridicule to destroy the image of the cults of personality.
Donald Trump knows what he is about. I applaud his method , it is rooted in the history of the free defeating fascism.
I have no problem with Pocahontis at all. Winston Churchill created Hitler into a goose stepping insane idiot for the masses of the Commonwealth, finally convincing Roosevelt, and pulled a one off. Trump will do so as well.
Meanwhile the GOPe are enablers of fascism just as were Joseph Kennedy and Lindberg in the old days. GOPe are twisted away from The Constitution by liberal fascist political correctness, which the DOnald is about to end.
Roll Donald , Roll!
Exactly correct. Trump can issue an “apology” (hahaha) and say he meant Fauxcahontas, as he “would never intentionally insult Native Americans” (”who are great people”, of course!) :-)
The real insults to Native Americans are Warren’s own words.
Having read more of the thread, perhaps “fake-a-hontas” IS better...
Post 1 — ROFL!
ROF-LMAO!
‘These republican ‘leaders’ are getting so damn ridiculous, its hard to even comment just how stupid they are sounding...’
We’re making a list, checking it twice. Gonna’ find out who’s squirmy and nice ...
I agree with you because a practical matter the Pocahontas tag has already been built up. Trying to build a new one in the middle of a presidential race is not a good idea.
It bugs me too, but only because I am worried the dems will use it to paint him as a biggot. As everyone here no-doubt knows, the proper term for her is “Fauxcahontas”, a play on words aluding to her making up native-american ancestry to gain advantage. Using Pocahantus instead opens Trump up for attacks claiming he’s got something against native americans.
Not “squirming” as much as Clinton, Poco, and their homosexual and Muslim supporters this day
People in American truly believe in Pocahontas. They have no idea this is the liberal MA senator being called “Pocahontas”.
I’m offended that he’s not calling her “Fauxcahontus”
Roger that, and it's exceeded any true Liberty loving American's expectations by leaps and bounds.
I don't know if Trump is a trustworthy guy that will keep his word or if he's just another fake, but he has already done America a huge favor by humiliating the GOP in his candidacy alone, even if he doesn't prevail in November.
