EXCLUSIVE: Hillary Clinton, from the moment her exclusive use of personal email for government business was exposed, has claimed nothing she sent or received was marked classified at the time.
But a 2012 email released by the State Department appears to challenge that claim because it carries a classified code known as a “portion marking” - and that marking was on the email when it was sent directly to Clinton’s account.
The “C” - which means it was marked classified at the confidential level - is in the left-hand-margin and relates to an April 2012 phone call with Malawi's first female president, Joyce Banda, who took power after the death of President Mutharika in 2012.
"(C) Purpose of Call: to offer condolences on the passing of President Mukharika and congratulate President Banda on her recent swearing in."
Everything after that was fully redacted before it was publicly released by the State Department -- a sign that the information was classified at the time and dealt with sensitive government deliberations.
A US government source said there are other Clinton emails with classified markings, or marked classified, beyond the April 2012 document.

Most if not all classified documents are classified paragraph by paragraph with the document itself marked at the highest level text or illustration within the document.
U would be UNCLASSIFIED
C would be the standard marking for CONFIDENTIAL.
S would be SECRET
TS would TOP SECRET
Higher level classifications would include TS/SCI and as an example and assuming there is a Stopwatch program: TS/STOPWATCH.

#34: If true that the staff stripped classification markings off the emails, then they are guilt of tampering with classified documents and need to go to jail.
Someone said that revealing “Confidential” documents is not a felony. Even if true, which I doubt, it could get someone killed.
Example: When I was a journalist in S. Vietnam during the war, I was allowed to see a massive amount of “Confidential” summary documents of interrogations and interviews with Viet Cong and No. Vietnamese defectors.
These documents contained the names and ranks (and often unit designations) of these defectors and if they were published as is before being sanitized, it would expose that person to a VC/NVA death sentence (I’ve handled such a death warrant from the Communists, still wet with the blood of their victim).
I was able to copy the document after having its owner “sanitize it” so that I could present it to congress (where it was reprinted, in part, in my congressional testimony.
Commonsense says in these days, when computer hackers are like flies, and very skilled, one in such a position as Hillary and Abedin or Mills, would automatically assume that someone is trying to see their communications and to take all necessary steps to make them very secure.
Hillary is a Marxist and narcisstic psychopath (similar to Obama), so what applies to the common person doesn’t apply to them. Abedin, given her Muslim Brotherhood background (and that of her immediate family), should never have been allowed in the White House or State Department. Mills should be disbarred for violating professional ethics (but she has none, just like the others).

Corrolating verbatim chunks of emails on Clinton's server to classified documents would be a damning bit of evidence.

First the leak to WSJ last night about the drone strikes, now this to Fox about classified markings being on the emails.
There's likely to be FREQUENT leaks from now on and they will shock the country. Obama will have to put tanks and troops in the streets of Washington DC before it's all over.
And the Republican Congress will be on the INSIDE.
They are the one's who are leaking. The White House and DOJ must be FURIOUS.
Likely the FBI made their referral to the US Attorneys and DOJ is sitting on it, tucked away.
The Intelligence Infrastructure is not going to stand for this one.

Someone caller on talk radio said that was because she had a state.gov address that forwarded to her personal address. I have no idea if that is true, but if it is, that would be the explanation.

The Secretary of State is one of a select few of about two dozen government officials with ‘Original Classification Authority’ to “classify information originally as “Top Secret” or “Secret”” on sight.
The above article shows that she originated classified information that she transmitted to Blumenthal.
Case should be closed from all of the above.
