My comment was that depending upon how the law was written, the action, no matter how reprehensible, may not be considered a criminal act under that law. Allowing bestiality is not correct, but they may have to re-write the law to cover situations like this.

I would have to read the applicable law to see what it said, and a) I don’t have the time and inclination to do so, and b)the acts sicken me and I don’t want to spend much more time on this.

The Independent reported that the case involved a British Columbia man, identified as "DLW," who was convicted of 13 counts of sexually assaulting his stepdaughters, but was acquitted of bestiality — because he "only" forced dogs into oral sex, without penetration being involved. The man "smeared peanut butter on the genitals of his victims and had the family dog lick it off while he videotaped the act."
