Donald Trump often boasts on the presidential campaign trail that hardball tactics helped make him a successful businessman, an approach many voters say they admire. Those tactics have also left behind bitter tales among business owners who say he shortchanged them.
A review of court filings from jurisdictions in 33 states, along with interviews with business people, real-estate executives and others, shows a pattern over Mr. Trump’s 40-year career of his sometimes refusing to pay what some business owners said Trump companies owed them.
A chandelier shop, a curtain maker, a lawyer and others have said Mr. Trump’s companies agreed to buy goods and services, then reneged when some or all were delivered....

This is true of ALL corporations. Especially ones that have been through bankruptcy. It’s not as if Trump personally stiffed these people.
You’ll find the same thing in companies linked to prominent Democrats.

Millions of transactions with vendors over 40 years and they found a handful of cases where he refused to pay, probably because the vendor was at fault somehow. Sigh. I don’t think he has creditors hounding him.
Frankly, I’m unconcerned about this, even if it is true. There are a multitude of accounts how Democrat politicians have not paid their bills.
If there is a business associated with Trump that has a claim of something unpaid, let them take it up in court.
Wait, businesses get in disputes with other businesses over whether the work is done correctly and to spec? Next you’re going to tell me that grass is green and water is wet.
This is definitely huge and series, but calculated to impact the low-information Hillary! voters that do not understand how business works.
The propaganda machine is generating advance buzz to lay the groundwork for pulling the rug out from under Trump and giving the nomination to some other candidate. Those idiots actually think that the voters will forgive and forget and turn out in November after being slapped in the face.
OK, fair enough. Will they also do similar pieces on the various dems who stiffed their hosts/businesses as part of the campaign? After all they need to give equal ‘air time’ to all involved.

You can call it a hit piece all you want, but there’s lots of history of this. You can defend it as good business or not.

Trump wouldn’t get a contractor or anyone else to build anything for him if he didn’t pay his bills...
I had a contractor I wanted to build my laundry room, he didn’t want to do it the way I wanted him to, I fired him, he sent me a bill, took him to court and I won!!!
I don’t think that too many people will feel sorry for the lawyers that he might have stiffed. I don’t know how people will feel about the other creditors. Maybe someone will put together a few of them and make an ad, but I really don’t think too many people will be shocked.

Of all papers the Wall Street Journal certainly KNOWS how Corporate Accounts Payable works (or doesn’t). It’s shameful!

As a layman, I was flabbergasted when I saw in my wife’s law office the number of real estate lawsuits. Some were the most frivolous things I had ever seen.
Lets just say personal knowledge. From multiple, trusted sources.
If you’ve been following the WSJ over the past week you cannot conclude anything but they’re in the tank for Hillary. It’s an all-out war against Trump over there.
Trump has a long history of refusing to be over charged and paying for substandard work. Which is easily spun into he’s stiffing people.
