Clinton retakes national "lead" over Trump (ZOT!)
The Hill ^ | June 09, 2016 | Jesse Byrnes

Donald Trump's support has dropped as Hillary Clinton now leads the businessman in a national poll released Thursday evening. Clinton leads Trump by 3 points, 42 to 39 percent, in a Fox News poll, a reversal of their positions in the race since a Fox poll released last month.

Trump's support has dropped 6 points since mid-May, while Clinton's has remained the same from last month's poll that found Trump leading 45 to 42 percent after his last GOP rivals dropped out. The businessman's support among self-identified Republicans has dropped 3 points in the past several weeks while he's fallen 11 points among independents, according to the latest poll.

Trump and Clinton remain largely disliked, with a majority of voters saying that both candidates lack the integrity to be president – 54 percent for Clinton, and 58 percent for Trump.

Far more voters view Clinton as qualified compared to Trump: 69 percent say Clinton is "very" or "somewhat" qualified, while 47 percent say the same of Trump, with more than twice as many saying Clinton is "very" qualified than him.

The survey was conducted this week as Clinton moved to locked up the remaining delegates needed to clinch the Democratic nomination. It also came amid intense criticism from Republicans and Democrats alike for Trump claiming a federal judge overseeing a lawsuit against Trump university was biased due to his Mexican heritage.

President Obama and other Democratic holdouts have this week announced their support for Clinton, whose challenger Bernie Sanders has signaled he plans to unify the party.

Many expect Clinton to receive a bump in national polling after becoming her party's presumptive nominee and hitting the campaign trail focusing solely on Trump.

Clinton and Trump exchanged Twitter barbs on Thursday, with Trump saying Obama endorsed Clinton because he wants a third term as president and Clinton telling Trump to "delete your account."

The survey of 1,004 registered voters was conducted June 5-8 via landlines and cellphones with a margin of error of 3 points.

FOX “News” could not tell the truth if they were
waterboarded, ... which Wallace ought be each week.

Trump’s down big among independents—it’s the judge thing. Why didn’t he just say ‘La Raza’? Frustrating.

Alarmingly this poll largely pre-dates Clinton’s wrapping up of the nomination. So any Bernie-bump she’s going to get is still in the future.

Biggest problem is the 11 point drop with Independent voters. They were willing to go along with him, but he’s got to have a lot more discipline with his public pronouncements.

Meaningless. Trump - 26% of Blacks 37% of Hispanics 81% of Evangelicals and the felon is getting record low 28% of White men.

People I have heard talking about this incident were uneased by the mere fact the Trump U litigation was even being discussed. It made the conversation and news cycle about Trump and not about his campaign to be our President.

Everyone is forgetting that Clinton has to face Judicial charges and perhaps jail time in the near future. That will preclude her from being President.

Is this judge so ashamed of being of Mexican descent that being referred to as Mexican insults him?

My ancestry goes so far back I am not likely to be referred to as a Brit or a Scot but being called a Texan or a Southerner would not offend me.

I think this is much ado about nothing. People are searching for ways to be offended.

“Hey look at me I'm offended. Waaaaa!”

I agree she’s not getting inducted you have to accept that, the clintons are untouchable.

Second we are falling into the same trap as last election which is, polls are wrong and meaningless, as well as all the other excuses we come up with. He is hurting and needs to turn it around quick otherwise Hilliary will smell blood in the water and not even Trump will be able to sell the little informed

Trump’s -11 points among Independents since May. So it obviously hurt him bad.

That is, if you trust the journalists who said that they couldn’t find the three pages of $15hr protestor ads on Craigslist during the riots, who think LaRaza is a Greek fraternity, who say American citizens instigate violence from DNC-paid illegal alien hit men because exercising their right to vote makes them Nazis...
